Reliable, great value and great location

It’s clean, convenient and very well run. The staff is friendly and professional. We had the opportunity to meet Zach, the GM who was kind and helpful.

The hotel is like something from the 1800s we had mold in our room bathtub area around the toilet sink smelt like sewer pillowcases were ripped and the Floors had stains and hardness from who knows what this place is a dump. Breakfast was awful. The oatmeal was hard as a rock ordered the two egg breakfast got two eggs, and two pieces of bacon was supposed to have hashbrowns waiter never returned food came out cold. No one cares take your business somewhere else, but not to this hotel.

Title: Perfect Location, Incredible Views, and a Warm Welcome!

We booked this stay after a terrible night in Pagosa Springs, and the DoubleTree Durango was exactly the rescue we needed. The early check-in was granted without any hassle, and the front desk staff were absolutely fantastic—warm, caring, and professional. They set the tone for a wonderful stay.
The Room & View:
The room was much larger than expected, with plenty of extra space to spread out. The balcony overlooking the river walk was the highlight—absolutely breathtaking and so peaceful. We loved just sitting out there watching the water flow and even had a family of ducks wander by!
Amenities:
The room was spotless and came with a microwave and refrigerator, which was super convenient. The bathroom was very clean, and I really appreciated the great-smelling shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We had a minor bathroom repair issue, but maintenance responded immediately
thank you for the perfect place to lay my head after a very bad accommodation situation in Pagosa Springs.

The EV charging was not working, which was one of the primary reason for us to select this hotel.

Our room was very nice and clean. The only thing we did not like were the beds and pillows. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the pillows were flat.
