The hotel was just fantastic. The pool is awesome - it is hard to have a nicer backdrop when swimming, as you can see the range of mountains from the outdoor pool. The restaurant offered great food options (for example, we tasted a cold gazpacho that combined melon, cucumber and mint that we liked so much that we will try to recreate it for ourselves) for both dinner and breakfast. We had a great time.

We had a great stay after driving over from the French side of the Pyrenees. We booked the family room and were expecting a smaller European size but the room was big, perfect for a family of 4. The pool was lovely. There is easy access to hiking. We dined in the bar and the food was very good, again simple for kids but better than simple bar food. We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciated the staff who was very welcoming.

Disappointing
At the reception, once check-in is completed, they inform you that there is no air conditioning, that they can provide a fan, and that it cools down at night, which left us speechless.
They do not inform you that the pool is shared with Camping Ordesa, making it impossible to find a sunbed and shade due to the number of people present.
We thought about enjoying a day of rest, and it was torture.
The Hotel Silken Ordesa does not mention the previously discussed issues on its website; this is called misleading advertising.

Would recommend this hotel
Stayed here for a week on a self guided walking holiday with Hike Pyrenees.
The staff are extremely friendly and speak English, but tolerant of my A1 Spanish!
The breakfast is excellent and served at 7.30am for walkers. The fixed price evening meal offers excellent value and served from 7.30pm to suit Northern European tastes.
There is no air conditioning on the second floor but they provided a fan, as we were there in exceptionally hot weather.
Everything was very clean and well presented.

A classic in our trips to Ordesa.
We have been coming to this hotel for several years (next to the Parador depending on the sector we are going to do).
The location for mountain activities is excellent; you have all the peaks and routes of Ordesa, Bujaruelo, and Otal within a 15-minute drive.
The hotel is a bit old but clean; the staff's attention is excellent, attentive, polite, always with a smile, a ten for the staff.
We travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels and countries; the breakfast at this hotel is always among my favorites, it is abundant, varied, and of high quality.
What more can you ask for?
