Situated in one of Malaga’s quiet residential neighbourhoods, La Francesa Suites has a beautiful French garden with lemon and orange trees. All rooms feature an elegant décor. The former home of Malaga’s British Consul, this early 20th-century building has been lovingly restored to offer bright rooms with en-suite private bathrooms. Each includes a flat-screen TV, minibar and free Wi-Fi, as well as air conditioning and heating. Guests will find many seafood restaurants within 10 minutes’ walk along Playa de las Acacias Beach and Pedregal Promenade. Staff are happy to give more information about Málaga and the surrounding area. There is a golf club, Club de Golf El Candado, just 2.5 km away. Guests can enjoy discounted rates in various golf courses on the area. Málaga Airport is a 25-minute drive away. La Francesa Suites offers a shuttle service at an additional cost. Please inform La Francesa Suites in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. Fantastic hotel with wonderful warm welcome

My husband and I escaped the cooler weather of Glasgow to enjoy 3 nights downtime in Malaga. We did not want city or usual beach resorts and came across La Francesa via Google. What an amazing find!! We were met by a taxi organised by Ana the proprietor which was simply added to our bill. We were shown a choice of two very stylish, shabby chic rooms and we selected the south facing option overlooking the delightful gardens. Everything we needed was there. Peace, tranquility and a very comfortable bed. Beautiful walk in shower, plenty of towels, fresh water in the fridge and tea/ coffee. Breakfast was served in the hotel courtyard; fresh warm rolls, ham, tomato salsa, fresh squeezed orange juice and cafe con leche. What more could one ask for! A gentle 10 minute stroll to the district of El Palo for delicious tapas and later in the evening, fish restaurants offering scallops and the biggest langoustine I’ve seen! If you want a trip where you stay around the Spanish people, then this is for you. Go with a few words of Spanish in your arsenal; it will serve you well! We met no other Brits during our little stay and loved having a bash at my schoolgirl Spanish. We shall be back to enjoy the warm welcome and weather El Palo and La Francesa has to offer. Beautiful B and B. Couldn’t have enjoyed more. Alfonso was very welcoming and helpful in every way. Excellent location. Our rooms were more than acceptable. Kitchenette, WiFi, air conditioning. Breakfast in the morning

Great stay

La Francesa is in a great location, walking distance to the beach and a bus stop to Malaga. Our hosts were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and what to see in Malaga. They spent quite a bit of time with us to provide directions to the locations we were interested in. Be careful to use the directions to the hotel provided on their website because google maps is incorrect.

Calm, charming, surprising, as always...

This has been my fourth time at La Francesa Suites. It always surprises me. As usual, I feel at home: good, fresh and healthy breakfast; a nice room (I wouldn't be able to choose by myself, all the rooms are so beautiful and delicate!); a comfortable bed to have a deserved rest at the end of a busy day; and a fantastic perfumed garden, crowded by many varieties of rose trees and other scented flowers... When you visit it in the nearly morning with the fresh you feel the purity of air just in the middle of the city; when during the afternoon/evening you can lazily lay under the sun or the blossomed trees. There is also the discrete presence of the owner: always helpful, but only present if you need her, making you feel like at your own home. Calm is all around, you can't imagine civilization is so closed! But I must confess that at every visit I find something new, surprising. This time I discovered a new Solarium where to enjoy the dawn over the sea; a quite place for doing some reading, having a cup of tea or a fresh drink from the honesty bar. Definitively, La Francesa Suites is my place un Málaga. I'll come back once more, I'm afraid...

Gorgeous oasis of tranquility, close to amenities.

We just returned from a lovely three nights at La Francesa. The owners could not have been more attentive, and we would absolutely visit again. The room we stayed in overlooked the delightful gardens, and we had breakfast in the lovely terrace area as the weather was kind to us. It is a pleasant walk down to the town with its great selection of tapas bars and restaurants. This was exactly what we were looking for, and we hope to visit again.
