Magical and charming place

Best place I've ever traveled without hesitation.
The place is magical. An area I didn't know and is spectacular.
Hospitality, brutal.
Pili, a formidable and hard-working woman who lives for the guest.
Special mention to Sonia, that the rooms had them perfect.
Cozy and endearing place.
Recommended 100%
If I go back to Cantabria, I will definitely return. Guaranteed option.
Ainhoa, the girl who serves breakfast, a charm and very attentive so that you do not lack anything.
Pili, the owner, makes some spectacular homemade biscuits in addition to the humane treatment.

Altogether an excellent experience

A somewhat belated appreciation of our one night stay at the end of February this year.
Everything was excellent; a comfortable room and lounge area, a delicious dinner and copious breakfast (both meals served earlier than usual to accommodate us) and a friendly welcome for our pup.
But above everything else the charm and helpfulness of our hostess Pili shone through from the start of the booking process until our departure.

A great stay

Very cozy atmosphere and family treatment. Very good breakfast. The owner makes you feel at home. Always attentive to any request. We loved it, we will return and recommend it to family and friends.

Overnight Stay

A non descript quite village (other than dogs barking) overlooking the water. Accommodation is basic and rustic with very friendly hosts. Small car park at the back of the property. Pila speaks reasonably good English, better than my Spanish so we got on fine. Evening meal was excellent, started with a huge bowl of onion and orange soup followed by local T-bone steaks, delicious. I had a local cheese cake and my wife selected the cheese. Excellent value at 18 euros a head. Should prebook this. Mustn’t forget the bottle of Ribero del Duero which again was very good. Dogs very welcome.

Excellent place and welcoming to Motorbikers

We stayed one night after getting off the ferry at Santander at the start of our two week motorbike tour. When we booked we had asked for a 'light' evening meal of just cheese and bread as we knew we wouldn't want to eat much and the owners were very happy to sort this out for us. Looking at the lovely food other guests were eating - we maybe could have found some space as it looked delicious and we will definitely eat here on our next visit.
The room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom and the whole building has lovely character. We were also very pleased that the owner - having seen us park in their car park - offered for us to move the motorbike up around the back of the house on a paved and very private area. We would most definitely use this place again when we next come back to Spain. For any motorbikers out there - do carry on along the road that this property is on, as it is lovely!
PS The owners do speak pretty good English - we certainly managed very well as our Spanish is limited - very!
