Outstanding - as always. Unique atmosphere, top service

Another fantastic stay at Sommerro. Great and pleasant service. The room was top, clean and neat, with lovely soap and lotion from Byredo. (Love the smell!) Lovely shower, good light which is automated and easy to operate.
Fantastic with all the offers they have at the hotel - many unique restaurants to choose from for a drink, lunch, or a very good dinner. I especially like the Expedition Hall.
Furthermore, the gym is top, and they have a lovely sauna attached to a rooftop pool.
Every single stay I've had has been memorable! And I've been to many hotels around the world. Always good to come here, and always a little sad to leave.

Exclusive neighbor to the castle

Had two good nights at Sommerro although check-in was quite slow but was upgraded to a nice and spacious deluxe room. Breakfast is very good with great and tasteful selection of everything. The hotel is perfectly located next door to the castle and National Theatre station with direct trains to the airport.

As you mentioned were located in the heart of Oslo Westside and within walking distance to the airport train . Glad you enjoyed breakfast as chef Alex takes great pride in the quality and provenance of all menus and ingredients .

Lovely design, vibe, breakfast and room. One big downer was that I had cancelled our table at a nice restaurant and booked at the hotels restaurant instead, after getting an email that there would be jazz until 22.00. But when we came to eat there was no Jazz…

Unique experience, don't hesitate, book this hotel

Our family of four stayed in 2 junior suites for four days in July. We travel a lot, and this hotel is an amazing stand out. The hotel room was unique and incredibly well done, being fashionable, luxurious and purposeful. The original building features incorporated with the renovation made this stay so meaningful.
The location, in a quiet, residential area, is just a short walk to major attractions. Service was efficient, the sleep experience was very comfortable. The nightly cookies were a nice touch. The gym and basement pool were impressive and a good size in comparison to the size of the hotel.
Since we booked the Jr Suite we had access to the outside, rooftop pool. The pool is very small, the seating area is just a long bench the length of the pool. We were in Oslo during a major heatwave and the pool area was packed. We were huddled in a small area of the pool so everyone fit. You need to make a reservation, go to the lobby to get a special keycard and take a special elevator to access the pool. Maybe on a cooler day, during sunset, this experience would be positive. Bottom line, don't get excited about the rooftop pool. However, get excited about everything else.
I wish there were more Sommerro hotels around the world - I would visit them all.
