Welcoming hotel

Beautiful and welcoming hotel, young staff, friendly and open to our requests.
Large and quiet room, clean, equipped with every comfort, well-ventilated during the warm days of our stay.
Clean bathroom, well-stocked with high-quality personal hygiene products.
Excellent wifi!
Very convenient parking!
The only downside is that the main elevator is not working; the other one is very slow, but it is not a big problem.
Highly recommended!
We will return!

Very disappointing, so really does not meet n Van der Valk hotel!!!!

We have already been to many Van de Valk hotels...
But this one in Gorichem A27, is really on the lesser side...
We are not used to one of the Valk hotel..
The terrace is poorly maintained, tiles are missing and were loose and really not neatly finished!!!
Hotel around poorly maintained, many weeds...
Rooms, also not great, drain bathroom stinks, door bathroom badly open, much too soft and bad mattress!!!!!
Also really not clean the room!!!!!
Staff, on the other hand, is super-friendly!!!!

Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Very good restaurant. Free parking. Room good but noisy at night (134)...hard to say what it was...running water?...heating/ cooling system? Safe in room, but no instructions. Tea & coffee making facilities in room. Emergency exits and rooms well signposted but no signs for the reception/ bar/ exit. Shower good but water goes everywhere and there is no drainage outside of the shower.

As a regular visitor you expect a professional commercial approach. Here, that's terrible. Don't set foot in here again!
