Awful

Awfully rude staff, food not the best, more like a dusty museum. DO NOT STAY HERE if you are autistic, have ADHD or any lung conditions and don't forget your mozzie spray! On the plus side the beds were extremely comfy!

Very separate but good for 1x

Rooms were great very large also bathroom there is really thought of people with disabilities schapoo. Staff were friendly was a pity that most could not speak or understand Dutch. If you went to the room at the bar it was pitch dark in the evening that piece could be made more light and the safety of the people may be better thought of in the hotel near the rooms. Can Jan and all just go in thought and night. Last night, around 2:00 a.m., two men were arguing. Did a lady tell you if she wanted to stop doing that? And that they should be calm. Haven't slept a wink since.

Never go to The Mature Islands again

Stayed midweek with a group of people with multiple rooms. Room was not clean, mattress was with many stains, incl blood stains. Turned mattress myself, but other side was even worse. End of stay bed itself removed, both duvet and pillow appeared very dirty from the stains.
At the buffet, the overall hygiene was also not to write home about.
In short overall impression was very muddy all.

Not good

Our room was dirty. The linen on the bed was clean but the walls and furniture was dirty. The chairs ont the stoep was full of spider webs and bird droppings.

The Never ending Nightmare

I don’t even know where to begin—this place felt less like a hotel and more like a waking nightmare that someone forgot to clean up.
From the moment I walked in, there was this unsettling, sour smell clinging to the air, like damp carpets and something far worse lurking underneath. The room itself looked like it hadn’t been properly touched in years—stained sheets, questionable marks on the walls, and a general sense that everything had been used far beyond its natural life. I genuinely felt uncomfortable sitting down anywhere, let alone trying to sleep.
And then there was the food. I wish I hadn’t even looked at it. What was served barely resembled anything edible—greasy, misshapen chunks that looked disturbingly like pig body parts, hacked apart and thrown on a plate without a second thought. The texture was rubbery and wrong, the smell alone enough to turn your stomach. It didn’t feel like a meal—it felt like a dare.
The whole experience left me deeply unsettled. Nothing about this place felt normal, welcoming, or even remotely hygienic. I’ve stayed in budget accommodations before, but this crossed into something else entirely—something grim, almost grotesque.
Avoid it unless you enjoy feeling completely disgusted and slightly haunted long after you leave.
And i kept hearing farts from the next room over.
