Een buitengewoon sfeervol en gezellig hotel. Eenvoudig maar werkelijk goed.

Om te beginnen een zeer prettige ontvangst.
Wij hadden een kamer gereserveerd en een tafeltje voor het avondeten.
Alles klopte en er liep ook iemand mee om ons de kamer te wijzen.
Daarna heerlijk op het terras gegeten en ook daar was de bediening prima.

Took way too long!

Friendly service, but boy, did it take a long time before the food was finally on the table (after an hour). And then we asked if our order could be taken. Because that also took a long time.
In all the time we have been there, only when we entered was asked what we wanted to drink.
The dessert and coffee we did not dare anymore and we went across the street to get.

Dutch experience at its best

Fantastic Dutch experience!
Great service throughout our evening meal. Perfect recommendations for drinks, starters and puddings. We had local beer and small balls for starters - a Dutch delicacy. Sat outside for our evening meal in the village square. Such a beautiful area. Rooms were clean, slightly outdated but comfy beds. Didn’t affect our wonderful experience. Would highly recommend!

Relaxed B&B in a lovely historical town

We stayed here one night while visiting the area. Bertram is a very relaxed and enjoyable B&B type multi room hotel located right at the central square. Rooms are clean, beds excellent, bathroom small but with all necessary equipment. Shower excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast simple but very enjoyable. Parking free of charge right alongside the hotel.
The nice thing is the historical town and it's beautiful surroundings.

Not luxury but comfortable

when we arrived to check in we were told we had a free upgrade which was lovely . The room was clean and comfortable with both a bath and shower . Breakfast was perfectly sufficient but not a great choice . The staff were very friendly and helpful and the town is pretty and quite quaint . We didn't get back in time to eat in the evening so can't comment on the food
