A few things to finish

We had a lovely New Years spent here in Amsterdam. The hotel is easy to find and overlooking canal. The room we stayed in was a Deluxe double. The size of the room was lovely with enough room for a sofa, desk as well as the beds. The bathroom could do with updating and a paint brush just to cover the chipped paint about the room wouldn't go amiss. But that is nit picking. It was still lovely and would gladly stay there again, we didn't have breakfast but what we saw made me wish we had. They were OK with us leaving our luggage there before and after checking in/out,.best wifi I've had in Amsterdam too.

Not as booked - take care

Arrived at the B+B Leidsekade 73 address and was directed to the hotel of the same name at number 77 by a sign on the door.
We had booked a B+B room for two people with single beds...must have been overbooked as we were directed to a completely separate B+B business up the road.
Our booking with View B+B (made through Booking.com) said "bright coloured rooms featuring contemporary decorations and large windows. There is a spacious private bathroom that comes with a walk-in shower and free toiletries. Free Wi-Fi is available." Unfortunately the replacement B+B was not as good as this...and we had to move to another room the following night which was the landlady's spare room - not part of her B+B business. Needless to say we contacted booking.com and asked them to find somewhere else...

Excellent!!

This was our first visit to Amsterdam and we wanted a reasonably priced B&B for one night and with most hotels & B&Bs the minimum stay was 2/3 nights. The staff on arrival were very welcoming and offered assistance with our luggage to the room and nothing was to much trouble.
We booked a triple room which was in the basement of the hotel (possibly tricky for people with walking difficullties) and couldnt fault the cleanliness or the room size. We had an en-suite bathroom and the room consisted of two single beds and a sofa bed.
Were hoping to go back to Amsterdam in August/September and we will be using this B&B again!!

Buena ubicación, pero algo caro

Nos gustó la habitación. Amplia y buena limpieza. Estaba situada en un bajo y se oía bastante el ruido de la calle. Pero la cama era tan buena que dormimos muy bien. Baño amplio y con limpieza muy cuidada. Nos llamó la atención que pese a su nombre, hay que pagar un extra por el desayuno, así que no lo cogimos. Ubicación buena a lado de la zona de Leidseplein. Nos pareció, eso sí, caro: 130 euros la noche es excesivo.

Tolle Unterkunft

Wir wurden nicht im B&B, sondern im 2 Häuser weiterliegendem Hotel untergebracht. Zunächst fanden wir das nicht besonders toll. Aber als wir das Zimmer gesehen haben und noch dazu als Entschädigung das Frühstück für beide Tage kostenlos dazu bekommen haben, waren wir damit einverstanden. Das Zimmer war sauber, groß genug und vorallen Dingen ruhig gelegen, so dass man den Lärm von der Straße nicht mitbekommen hat. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, das Frühstück war super und die Mitarbeiter sehr sehr freundlich. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.
