Feudo degli Ulivi

Amazing setting among the olive trees!This hotel is a family run,restored stone Manor house.Their pride of ownership shows with every detail.The rooms are in a converted stable,with beamed ceilings. Think contemporary rustic,and you will have an idea of the decor. There is a fully restored chapel in the courtyard that is just beautiful.The hotel is immaculate and so are the grounds.The entire staff is friendly,more than helpful,and seem delighted to honor any requests. The pool is very large and if you press the secret button,water fountains will begin to spray. Every meal was delicious and artfully and artistically prepared.We were there for a family wedding and the reception was 5 star.Easy to understand why this hotel is very popular event venue.The grounds also have a small farm and a small working olive oil production operation. The only negative is that when an event is scheduled the pool is closed.However,beaches are nearby,and the restored Borgia castle of Squillace is 5 minutes away.Also the town of Borgia is very close. My best advice would be to inquire in advance about any events booked during your stay.That way,you can make plans to sightsee if the pool is not open.Wpould highly recommend this gem.

At Feudo degli Ulivi

I spent couple nights in it with my wife.
First of all I was impressed of size of the pool and the place was very relaxing and the food was great.You must have a GPS to find the place and also I would like to thank Annarita for her kindness.

An AMAZING Gem in the Heart of Calabria!

This is the best lodging experience we have had in a long time. The grounds are beautifully tucked away in the Borgia countryside. The rooms are generously proportioned, and the furnishings are all-around lovely. The staff was 100% service-focused and helpful - it almost seems like they are all family perhaps. The swimming pool itself is worth the stay if you are a sun-lover as are we - it is fantastic. Plan to dine at the restaurant - it predates the Inn, and the food is just wonderful; we had breakfast and dinner there. From Borgia, you are <20 minutes from the airport or either coast, where the beaches are spectacular. Feudo Degli Ulivi was the perfect place to call home as we explored Calabria.
Oh - I saved the best detail for last - check out the prices!! I would have expected to pay three times as much as I did for this stay - it was well worth it. Before we left, we booked our next trip there - it was that great an experience.

Very calabrese

I was here for a wedding in May and the service was excellent. Very friendly and professional staff, and no problems with the personnel. The food was well done, however, it wasn't necessarily to my liking, as it was all based around fish and dishes that incorporated fish. The plates I did enjoy, however were very well prepared. The location is a bit off the map and hidden deep amongst the olive trees in the periphery of Borgia and on the border of Borgia's outskirts and Squillace. If you aren't too familiar with the area then it may be difficult to reach/find. It is a beautiful hotel and restaurant especially in the evening and at night. The pool is absolutely wonderful and the rustic theme of its main hall is also very nice.

Wunderschöne Anlage - Nervige Familienfeste

Without a doubt, the grounds are beautiful. But what use is this paradise, if you can not use it? This hotel has lots of weddings take place. Then the pool for hotel guests is not available. In the surrounding area you can hardly do anything. The beach ride (15 km) is costly (chairs and umbrellas to pay much extra).
Rooms, restaurant and service really good.

Dear Siri,
first off all i would like to apologize for the inconvenience about the pool. But it's really strange because if there is a wedding in the evening gust can use the pool till 17:45 pm in stead of the normal time (till 18:00 as you could read on the pool's rules). Besides after we got a reservation, we automatically send an email to inform our gust that the time of the pool could change if there is a wedding. In the end, our gust, before getting Borgia, already knows the time of the pool.
However, we would like to thank you for the compliments about the restaurant, the rooms and the service. We will try to do our best. Thank you so much for your review.
