Luxury in Grenada
My stay at Silversands was everything I needed and more. The staff, the food, the location, the hotel and grounds = all top tier. Silversands is located at the end of Grand Anse beach. I walked the beach to Umbrellas restaurant, which was a nice workout in the hot sun. That being said, there are restaurants and other properties along the beach. The hotel grounds are all picture perfect. You’re greeted with a warm towel for your hands and a fresh beverage. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. When you arrive at the pool/beach, someone immediately comes to assist with towels and a cooler of water and ice. The rooms are open and spacious, with everything you need. This hotel is a 10/10. I’m going back to Grenada and I’m staying at Silversands.

Amazing Stay
Our stay at Silversands Grand Anse was wonderful! The property is stunning with the most epic infinity pool leading to the ocean. It was a view I could not get enough of. The hospitality service was impeccable from the moment we entered, and maintained throughout our stay.
In particular, a special shout out to Rennata, our concierge, who went above and beyond to stay connected with me before the trip with pre-planning details, as well as throughout our stay. She checked in daily, and even made sure to tend to our every need when we fell ill. Rennata’s attention to detail and professionalism helped to create a warm stay for my family.
Our ocean view room with balcony was beautiful, with modern decor and an extremely spacious feel. The Silversands location on Grand Anse beach is quite ideal, as well. We also enjoyed their sister property at Silversands Beach House for a couple of days. Overall, our stay at Silversands was relaxing and a lovely getaway. I highly recommend it!

Unmatched beauty and hospitality
How to describe the most amazing experience we had at Silversands Grand Anse. We have never visited a more beautiful resort and have never been treated with such attentive personalized care. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty.
Although every staff member was outstanding, so many need to be singled out for their kindness and hospitality: Rennate, Allison and Donique were our first point of contact and each provided exceptional service. From the first email to the last day, they went out of their way to make every detail perfect. Jhon who picked us up at the airport and later took us shopping was kind, warm and accommodating, as was Emmanuel who walked us all the way to our dinner at Dexter’s- thank you both for going above and beyond. Vadie, Shaquille and Daniella started our mornings off each day with fabulous service and kind smiles, Stephon was a pure joy to get to know. Always armed with a warm smile and kind word, his service and professionalism is unmatched. And what can we say about the beach crew led by Rolando, Khaled and Dijon- they made our stay exceptional. In addition to their spectacular service, they are the kindest, funniest, and most hard-working people you will ever meet. Each goes above and beyond each day to make you feel pampered, comfortable and loved. So many others deserve praise such as the exceptional housekeeping crew who left our villa spotless each day and the grounds crew and security who keep the resort safe and looking beautiful each day. We have travelled to many Caribbean islands and nothing compares to the experience we had here. We rarely return to a place we’ve visited but may need to make an exception after our experience at Silversands. The resort is beautiful but the people are really what makes this place special. We arrived as strangers but do feel like we left as family. Thank you everyone for making our vacation the most relaxing, luxurious, and indulgent week we’ve had in a long time!

The Silversands Hotel
It was beautiful. The hotel is stunning and the staff and service is amazing. There are breathtaking views and we will definitely be back. It is super clean and it also has the most spectacular infinity pool you will ever see.

Room Position Matters (and so does visiting during the rainy season)
**Bottom Line Up Front:** I would stay here again—but not during the rainy season.
Airport Transfer: The airport transfer was smooth and reasonably priced. Representatives were waiting outside the airport with signs, making them easy to find. However, since the resort has two properties, make sure you know which one you're staying before approaching them. The ride to the hotel took about 15 minutes.
Check-In: Check-in was quick and welcoming. Since I arrived after the official check-in time, my room was ready. One thing to be aware of: the security deposit is supposed to be a temporary hold, but it ended up posting as a charge to my credit card. I recommend confirming that they are placing only an authorization hold—not an actual charge—when you check in.
Room: The room was modern, well-appointed, and, for the most part, soundproof. The rooms are designed so you wake up facing the ocean. However, buildings directly in front of the hotel partially obstruct the view. If possible, request a room on the far-right side of the building, preferably on one of the upper floors. Since the hotel has only three stories, even the higher floors won't provide a completely unobstructed view, but a higher-floor corner room offers the best chance.
Housekeeping was attentive, consistent, and did an excellent job throughout my stay.
Pool: The view of the pool when you first enter the hotel is absolutely stunning. It really takes your breath away. Although the pool could be considered narrow, it's very long, so it never felt crowded. Pool service was inconsistent. One day there were three attendants working, while on other days there was only one. Other staff members were willing to help when needed, but having only one dedicated pool attendant often resulted in slower service, especially when he took a lunch break or was assisting elsewhere. It seemed like an unnecessary strain on both the employee and the guests. The hotel provides complimentary sunscreen and insect repellent, and you'll definitely need the insect repellent if you visit during the rainy season. Unfortunately, the insects were the biggest downside of my trip and significantly impacted my vacation. I was told the property fogs for insects twice a week, but during the rainy season that simply wasn't enough. They really should consider fogging at least every other day. The bugs were so bad that I couldn't comfortably enjoy the pool or beach.
Beach: The beach is small but perfectly adequate. While the water isn't the most stunning Caribbean water I've experienced, it's still beautiful. There are also quite a few friendly stray dogs along the beach. If you're uncomfortable around stray dogs, beach walks may not be particularly enjoyable.
Gym: Small but functional, with enough equipment for a basic workout.
Spa: Don't skip the spa! The facilities are beautiful, the treatment rooms are among the nicest I've experienced, and the massage services were outstanding. The spa was easily one of the highlights of my stay. The only missing element is a whirlpool but everything else is certainly there!
Breakfast: Breakfast was average. The selection remained fairly consistent each morning, but the quality and flavor varied from day to day. A dish that tasted great one morning might be disappointing the next. Fruit flies were also noticeable. Most of the food was covered to protect it, but some items remained exposed.
Overall Experience: The shuttle between the sister properties runs every three hours. The Grand Anse property was very accommodating if you needed transportation outside the scheduled times, but the Beach property adhered strictly to the shuttle schedule. Overall, the resort never felt overcrowded, even when having locals visit for the day. It maintained a quiet, relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. The staff were professional, responsive, and generally accommodating. Despite a few areas that could be improved, I enjoyed my stay. If I return to Grenada, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again—as long as it isn't during the rainy season.
