Nice quite stay

Great hotel, reasonably located in the town. We were with friends to see the Marolin museum and shop. Was only a short walk away. Good breakfast and the rooms were good. Nice balcony leading of the bedroom that allowed a nice view of the valley and town.

Very closed mentality!!!

My husband and I came in this B&b to celebrate his grandma’ birthday and spent two nights here with all the family.
After the first night we started to smell from our shower and wc a very bad smell from sewage that invaded all the room. We had to open the window with -2 degrees Celsius outside!! Freezing… But this is not the worst part …. during the last breakfast the owner gave out her best. We didn’t eat any bread in the morning because we had some left over from the birthday’s cake. But we took 4 small rolls (brotchen) that we filled them with some left over from the previous evening dinner because we wanted to keep them for the journey .
The owner was extremely unhappy about that and not only she yell at us during breakfast but also during check out and she asked for extra money for these 4 little rolls?!!!!!! Unbelievable!!! Especially considering that our family spent more than 500 euros in food over this weekend!!!!

Kurztrip nach Sonneberg

Wir waren hier für zwei Tage. Das Hotel ist sauber, das Frühstück übersichtlich und für uns gab es genügend Auswahl an Wurst, Käse, Marmelade und Honig. Wasser, O-Saft und Kaffee standen zur Verfügung. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss. Das Zimmer ist relativ klein (weniger geeignet für Motorradfahrer mit Ausrüstung). Auf dem Flur steht ein Kühlschrank zur Benutzung bereit. Dickes Plus dafür. An manchen Stellen sieht man etwas Renovierungsbedarf. Für unseren Zweck hat es vollkommen ausgereicht. Wer nicht all zu hohe Ansprüche hat, der ist hier für ein paar Tage gut aufgehoben.

Schlechter geht es nicht!

Wer Lust hat unverschämt angepöbelt und rausgeschmissen zu werden, sollte dort essen gehen. Wir waren an einem Samstag Abend (19:00) dort und wollten essen. In dem großen Restaurant waren gerade einmal 5 Tische besetzt. Nach langer Zeit kam endlich eine kleine übergewichtige kurzhaarige blonde Bedienung an unseren Tisch und erklärte in einem unverschämtenTon, dass wir dort nicht essen dürften, wenn wir nicht vorbestellt hätten.Es sei schließlich Hochsaison! Nun fragt man sich, wie es sonst dort aussieht, wenn in der Hochsaison das Restaurant am Wochenende fast leer ist.Als wir sie freundlich darauf hinwiesen,dass doch alle Tische leer seien, wurde sie noch frecher und hat uns praktisch rausgeschmissen. Wahrscheinlich sollten die Gäste vergrault werden um früher Feierabend zu machen. Man fühlt sich fast an ehemalige DDR-Zeiten erinnert. Mein Fazit, besser meiden!
