Hotel is good except for a few small things

Hotel is good
Wifi very poor
No refrigerator in the room
Fan in the bathroom makes an awful lot of noise
Very small pillow
And very old TV without HDMI
(For connection Google Chrome cast)

Gladly again.

We spent a long weekend cycling in Soest with 10 friends. The hotel is very well suited for this. We were able to park our bikes in the garage for free. Good touring options all around. The rooms were bright, clean, quiet and modern. It is possible to eat in the hotel if you reserve in advance. The food was good, but nothing special. The restaurant and bar closed at 9:30 p.m. There is no other lounge. That was a bit of a shame for us as a group. The city center is easy to reach by bike, and it is also no problem on foot (approx. 20-30 minutes walk). I was worried about the road situation, but that didn't bother me at all as the rooms face the back. All in all, very suitable for our purposes. We would be happy to come back!

The staff is very nice, the hotel is very red style, the room is big and comfortable to live in, it is a small bungalow, there are no restaurants nearby, the hotel has its own restaurant, the environment of the restaurant is good, the desserts are ok, other dishes are a bit more expensive . Overall it is a comfortable hotel.

Wifi Broken

Used as an overnight stop as close to the motorway.
Most was ok and as expected although the reception staff were particularly helpful.
I would have given a 4 or 5 review but I just can't overlook the fact that WiFi was off all evening and still not working in the morning. I have both a modern Android phone and a Windows 11 machine. Neither could connect to their Wifi. It made it very difficult to book my onward hotel.

Great for overnigh stop, close to motorway

Hotel was very convenient for an overnight stop being just a couple of km off the motorway.
I requested a ground floor room as I have mobility problems and this was acknowledged by the hotel in a message prior to our stay and was provided for us when we arrived.
The room was spacious and spotlessly clean.
We paid extra for breakfast which was the usual plentiful continental breakfast of cereals, fruits, yoghurt, fresh bread/rolls, cheeses, cold meats, preserves, cake, with a choice of hot dish being scrambled or boiled eggs, juices, tea or coffee.
We also had an evening meal outside on the terrace as it was a warm evening which was a pleasant. The meal was plentiful and tasty albeit a little overpriced for the venue.
The staff were friendly and efficient and all in all a good overnght stay.
