Good food nice service and beautiful ambiance

We had Good hefe weiss beer and good German schnitzel. Taste was good and the portions big. Service was friendly. The ice-cream on the end was great to. It was a normal Thursday evening but it was very crowded... but not to much.
Next year we come back to this place ;-)

Just help yourself to a tip whydontcha?

The hotel itself is just fine including an indoor swimming pool for the use of guests, although the staff are rather surly.
This review is about the restaurant and the shocking sense of entitlement displayed by our waitress which is the reason I have been moved to review the place on here.
Having enjoyed a meal of good quality with a couple of excellent beers to boot, our bill came to a little over 40 Euros. I had a 50 Euro note which I was placing on the table while intending to ask her to take from it a few Euros more than the bill to include a tip. But before I could so much as open my mouth she said 'danke', swept up the note and disappeared. Really disappeared. We waited 20 minutes.
Now a tip would have been gladly given, but I think she should be ashamed of this behaviour, hence the low rating. Shame on you.

Don't try to speak German, they won't understand

The Kaiser Restaurant was the worst place we have eaten at in 28 years of living in Germany. The food was tasteless. When we asked the girl to wrap up our leftovers so we could take them home, she threw them in the garbage (or so she said). The woman in charge was totally unhelpful. She said the food was thrown away and that the waitress had misunderstood and we were out of luck! She just walked away and ignored us! Actually the food belonged in the garbage, but we should not have had to pay for that garbage. Also, we had hardly touched our meal and we wanted to take it home and give it some herbs and flavor. We spent a lot of money on that "garbage"!!!

Desinteresse an Kundschaft

Nachdem wir schon einige Male Essen bestellt und damit zufrieden waren, haben wir uns für einen Vorort-Besuch entschieden. Zwei Familien mit einem Kleinkind.
Obwohl das Restaurant an einem Sonntag nur zur Hälfte gefüllt war, mussten wir knapp 20 Minuten warten, bis wir bestellen konnten. Die Getränke kamen nach ca. 30 Minuten, auf die Salate und Vorspeisen mussten wir 75 Minuten warten, die Hauptspeisen kamen dann nach knapp 1h und 45 Minuten.
Das Essen war in Ordnung, die Portionsgrößen auch.
Leider darf man heutzutage nicht mal mehr eine Entschuldigung oder kurze Erklärung für die lange Wartezeit erwarten. Wir werden wohl künftig anderen Restaurants in der Region den Vorzug geben.

Mittagessen

Wir hatten Zwiebelroastbraten und Roastbeef. Der Zwiebelroastbraten war nicht essbar, weil er roh war und das Roastbeef war völlig übergart!!!. Wir hatten statt Gemüse Salat bestellt. Dieser Beilagesalat wurde mit 5 Euro berechnet! Wir sind absolut nicht anspruchsvoll und jedem der arbeitet passieren Fehler. Aber dies war absolut ungeniessbar!!! Wir liesen das Essen zur Hälfte zurückgehen. Die Küche fragte nach was nicht in Ordnung ist, aber sonst keinerlei Entgegenkommen.
Ich habe noch nie so eine Rezession geschrieben, aber sowas geht gar nicht!
