Nice, smooth place for rest after work

Hi Folks,
This hotel is obviously mostly visited by nice elder couples who enjoy the beautiful mountain landscape. Staff very friendly and helpful. The price is popular.
I don't remember when last time I slept so well. The only remark was that the Hotel doesn't provide Laundry Service... If you stay longer, that can be a problem.

We had a very nice stay in this hotel

When arriving, we were helped immediately and shown to our room, which was a clean, normal 3* hotel room. Big shower,with sitting area in the shower.
Fridge in the hall to take drinks (payable).
There is a bar and a space for games (poker chips, stratego, ...).
The restaurant and buffet are clean; the food was no 'haute cuisine' but yet very nice; there was a choice of 2 entries and 2 main courses.
Nice hiking possibility in the environment, trip to vulcanic lake, many (ruin) castles, ...

Aangenaam verblijf!

Het hotel ligt in een mooi gebied in een klein dorpje aan een rustige straat. Binnen enkele minuten zit je midden in het bos.
Het personeel is vriendelijk. Het hotel is op punten gedateerd. Langzaam worden de moderniseringen zichtbaar. De kamers zouden gerenoveerd mogen worden maar de bedden zijn goed en de douche lekker warm.
WiFi is alleen beschikbaar op de begane grond.

Sehr freundliches und familieres Ambiente

Kurz gesagt: Familien geführtes einfaches Hotel. Begrüßung sehr angenehm. Alles sauber! Zimmer einfach aber okay. Entspricht dem Preis. Frühstück gut und ausreichend. Einziges Manko: schlechtes W-lan auf den Zimmern.
Wir würden immer wieder gerne hier einschecken.

weekendje weg (vrijdag tot maandag)

Hotel is gelegen in een zeer rustig dorpje, Gerolstein-Michelbach. Hotel is nog niet zo lang in Nederlandse handen. Deze mensen doen er alles aan om de vakantiegangers het zo goed mogelijk naar hun zin te maken, men voelt zich hier snel thuis. Ontbijt en avondeten is zeer ruim en lekker, kokkin is Duitse. Bij het avondeten waren er 2 drankjes per persoon inbegrepen, vind ik tof maar of dit haalbaar blijft trek ik in twijfel. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Slaapkamer was wel oud en versleten (Bed en matras) is aan vervanging toe. Badkamer netjes en iedere dag gereinigd. De nieuwe eigenaars gaan en zullen er alles aan doen om dit hotel op te frissen.
Ik kan besluiten dat dit hotel veel potentieel heeft mits in de toekomst de nodige
vernieuwingen door te voeren. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug.
