Top hotel
I had a thoroughly successful stay at the Beach Hotel Bene and would love to return.
From the moment you enter the hotel, you immediately notice how much emphasis is placed on cleanliness, quality, and a well-maintained overall impression. The entire hotel is modernly furnished and very tastefully designed. My room was also in excellent condition – clean, high-quality, and very inviting.
Breakfast was a real highlight for me every morning. The buffet offers a wide selection and leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is lovingly arranged and decorated. I particularly enjoyed the delicious strawberry sparkling wine and the orange juice machine, where you can press fresh orange juice yourself – a great detail. The service staff was always exceptionally friendly, attentive, and warm-hearted.
The cleaning team also did an excellent job, ensuring that one feels completely comfortable.
Another highlight is the location right on the South Beach. It couldn't be better. Unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky with the weather, but that is more of a reason for me to come back again.
Dinner also convinced me. The Mediterranean tarte flambée was excellent and significantly larger than I had expected.
Thank you very much to the entire team for the warm hospitality. One can feel the dedication with which work is being done here. I felt very comfortable from the first to the last day and can wholeheartedly recommend the Strandhotel Bene.

Another great stay
We are now back at the Strandhotel Bene on Fehmarn – and it is a real highlight every time! The reception by the hotel manager is warm, the service in the whole house just top. You feel welcome immediately.
The rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable. We particularly appreciate the quiet atmosphere and the perfect location directly on the beach with fantastic sea views.
Breakfast is great – fresh, varied and with great attention to detail. In the evening there is a small, fine menu, and even special requests were fulfilled. Everything was, as always, very delicious!
For us one of the best hotels on Fehmarn. We will definitely come back!

Surprise: Mini fridge available!
After being here last year in February and writing in our review that a mini fridge would be nice, the surprise was perfect: This year we were here with our little dog in April, and a mini fridge was also in the room!
Otherwise everything as usual: large room with views of the Baltic Sea and the Fehmarn-Sund bridge and particularly colorful sunsets; varied breakfast buffet with sparkling wine, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee specialties, delicious hot and cold food; and of course the always friendly and helpful staff!

Very good hotel with friendly staff
Very nice care in all areas, starting with check-in, continuing in the restaurant and also with the cleaning staff. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating.
I had booked together with my wife, who unfortunately did not go for health reasons. I got the booked comfort double room. The room is really large and very modern and comfortable. In the room there is an electric kettle and tea and coffee. The room also had a cosy sitting area, a flat-screen TV and two large wardrobes. There is also a large desk with additional base cabinets.
The bathroom is equipped with shower, toilet and sink and is of a functional size. Details such as hairdryer, shaving mirror etc. are included, as well as soap as a packaged soap bar and shower gels and body lotion.
From the balcony I had Meerblich on the Fehmarnsund and the Fehmarnsund Bridge.
The breakfast buffet was very extensive. There were a lot of cold cuts, cheeses, salads, sweet selections, honeycombs to express, juice vending machine (expresses oranges directly), coffee of various varieties. The rolls are fresh and crisp, there are fresh butter croissants and chocolate croissants and much more. Just perfect.
Everything in the hotel was very clean and well maintained.
I felt in good hands and welcome at the hotel. It was a very pleasant stay.

a small fine beach hotel with good restaurant
Located at the end of the south beach in the first row on the beach. Free parking is right outside the door. The staff is friendly and helpful. We have received many useful tips. The room was spacious and with beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. The house was very quiet. Breakfast was extensive and good. Dinner a la carte in the hotel restaurant was very good, plenty and reasonable in price, as was the wine. We felt very comfortable at Hotel Bene and can recommend it without restriction.
