Charming hotel with friendly personel

Nice and quit hotel (opposite to a retirement home) is a close to the 'berg' and with good running hiking trails. The hotel is a bit old but very charming and serves nice breakfast. Apparently a place known for its coffee and cake (windbeutel).
The town is a health resort area and very quit.

Nice small hotel

The hotel is really nice rooms could be better but the personal it's really helping you to feel perfectI as like a five-star hotel ! And really good breakfast! Looking forward to come here again.

Best Value!

I had a business meeting on the next day in a neighbour city and just wanted to have a convenient place to stay. - But then I was positively surprised. The village of Bad Salzschlirf is beautiful though very silent and a lot of elder people.
When I arrived at Soederberg I was welcomed by one of the family members which operates the hotel. Though they don't have anymore an own restaurant I got several recommendations of Restaurants in walking distance.
The room was spacious and decorated in a somehow romantic way which is normally not my style, but here it matched the surrounding in a good way.
In the morning, I couldn't find the buffet directly but got help immediately by another family member, who even asked me what he can do for me in addition (eggs any kind, bacon, etc.) and I got a perfect Cappuccino. The bread rolls were really fresh from the bakery as well as everything else. - You could feel in all belongings that this hotel is driven by a family who really wants you to feel comfortable. When I checked out, we said Good Bye with a handshake!
Don't get me wrong...its not a business hotel but Wifi was working well. There is no business centre...but if you are looking for a nice, cosy place...resting your soul, this is the place!

A little old place

The hotel sets in a part of small town. It has a decent parking. The meals are good. Staff is very pleasent. If you aspect internet to be fast, forget. Its only for basic staff. Rooms are nice, nothing special..equiped with minibar. There is old patine hanging in the air of room from old furniture and tapestery which is quite nice. Good place to stay if get lost in this part of Germany.

Finger weg, Baustelle!

Das Hotel ist eine Baustelle. Niemand vor Ort, niemand geht an eine der ausgehängten „Notfallnummern“. Großer Reinfall. Mussten kurzfristig ein anderes Hotel finden und erheblich mehr zahlen. Finger weg!!
