Hotel with a well-maintained beach.

Hotel in a convenient location, with a well-kept beach, very clean, rooms with outdated furnishings but spacious, friendly staff, excellent culinary offerings, if you do not have too many demands, it is fine.

Perfect location but the welcome and breakfast need improvement.

The location as well as the rooms are truly perfect.
The beach is beautiful with the pier and its sunrise like I have never seen.
A small downside, but not insignificant, is that the welcome is not really ideal, as well as the interactions in the morning at breakfast. Only on Saturday did we see a big change with smiles and pleasant exchanges.
Regarding breakfast, honestly, having dining options in the hotel, we really expected better than industrial croissants and breads. As we mentioned, just a small homemade cake or bread would have really made a difference.

Exceptional Location

I choose this hotel based on the location and was not disappointed. The hotel occupies one of the nicest beaches in Moorea. There are lots of shady spots under the palm trees and a wide expanse of sandy. The sunsets are spectacular The lagoon is mostly shallow with corals and fish that invite snorkeling.
There are two restaurants that alternate opening hours, the nicest being the one on the beach. The food includes Polynesian and International choices. There are 4 rooms with no A/C nor kitchen that are very affordable; the other 20+ units have varying numbers of beds, kitchens, with or without A/C. There is an good grocery to the east of the hotel with prepared meals and good selection of beverages and to the west are more small convenience stores and several good restaurants. But what really is memorable is the warmth and helpfulness of the desk staff. A very friendly tuxedo cat and some chickens and roosters round out the crew. The one suggestion I have is that the hotel provide a water dispenser so that reusable bottles can be used instead of having to buy bottled water every day.

A wonderful stay in Moorea

Les Tipaniers is a good choice. It is a beautiful bungalow layout on a plot of tropical plants and trees. The beach is beautiful, swimming pleasant (don't forget water shoes in some places), and it is ideally placed to marvel early in the morning with sunrise, but also for sunset. The breakfast is full and the team in place welcoming. Water activities are nearby, there is also a 10-minute walk (right on the way out) restaurants, groceries, shops, boat snorkeling providers, (left on the way out) masseuses and groceries. Our sea view bungalows were spacious, with fan (more than enough) and fridge. Do not forget to ask for beach towels upon arrival.
Small downside: the tourist tax is increased by an eco-tax for the protection of the lagoon, without us being warned before, but it does not spoil our experience.
