Excellent

5th or 6th stay between the Chatellier and the Manoir des Douets.
Welcoming Yoan, cleanliness of the rooms, impeccable bedding, EXTRAORDINARY breakfast, with fresh, local, quality products, a huge choice between sweet and savoury, and pancakes, Breton fars and other homemade.
Enjoy the new outdoor pool, great!
No bad ratings, already eager to come back!

Comfort and adorable welcome

Lovely welcome, cozy room, good quality bath towel and sheets, very nice pool and very well advised for dinner, a big thank you to the mistress of the place, we felt at home.

Blissful stay in a small hotel with top service and a blissful swimming pool.

What a wonderful stay. A small hotel with an extremely warm and personal welcome. The breakfast was sufficiently varied with several types of bread, pancakes, cake, yogurt, toppings, lots of jam and the possibility to fry an egg yourself. The rooms are rather small but have a spacious shower, a very good bed and a closet. However, there is no air conditioning in the room. You can cool off at the beautiful and large pool with lots of comfortable sun loungers. Under the umbrella or not.

A wonderful stay in Cancale. Hotel was great. Kids loved the pool. Excellent breakfast buffet

Do not choose the rooms roadside!

3rd experience at this establishment. 2 years ago, Pension le Chatelier, room on the 2nd floor overlooking the park, very quiet. Last year, the chance to have been upgraded to the Manor of Drouets in a very large room overlooking the horses and the duck pond, a very nice bathroom, also very quiet.
On the other hand this year Inn Le Chatelier but room on the 1st floor roadside. Then it's not the same thing.
Already a floor lamp outside illuminates the room with a bright orange light. So I reluctantly close the shutters.
Then, the temperature being very mild, I had left the window open. But I can't fall asleep. Indeed, there are an impressive number of cars passing on this road that is right next door, which travel extremely fast and it is impossible to fall asleep. After an hour more reluctantly, I close the window.
This only slightly reduces the noise of cars.
Then in the night, the occupant(s) of the room above who flushes 3 times and walks like a tormentor it resonated because a priori there is no soundproofing...
So night really ruined by all these noises, while I come here precisely for the calm that reigns there.
So, I will come back, that's for sure, but asking for a room either at the Drouets mansion (it was full when I booked), or as 2 years ago a room overlooking the park.
Apart from that, always a very good reception, free parking which is more than rare in the hotels of Cancale, swimming pool and jacuzzi at the top, impeccable cleanliness, very well maintained park, in short apart from this very noisy room next to the road, there is only positive and I want to return very quickly...
