A delightful place to stay

Brilliant location close to the beautiful village of Biot and on a local bus route between Antibes and Valbonne. The staff were absolutely brilliant and did everything they could to make us welcome. The room was very comfortable, with an excellent balcony. This was our third visit to this hotel and we hope it will not be the last.

Lovely hotel

Beautiful hotel. Staff, rooms and pool really lovely. Limited menu during the day/evening but good food well presented and tasty. Excellent breakfast on the gorgeous terrace, overlooking the pool. No bar though, so the only negative point is you are unable to enjoy the ambience with a cold beer in the evening. Biot village very close by. Easy transfer from the airport. Buses to Antibes straightforward.

Location, service, breakfast - everything top

We stayed for four days at La Bastide and are very pleased with our stay. You have a very nice view over the valley from the restaurant terrace and partly to the pretty place Biot. The road passing below the hotel does not bother at all. Very helpful are the hotel's parking spaces. The only accessible room was actually accessible without steps. However, the way from the parking lot led over a very long ramp and was therefore already strenuous and a bit tedious with Rollator. With a wheelchair, this would hardly be possible without help. The room itself was very spacious and had a large terrace, unfortunately without a view but with a lot of privacy. The decor was very pleasant, the beds large and comfortable. The very large bathroom had a walk-in shower. However, there was no handle. Although it was available at the toilet, it was so unfavourably attached there that it hindered more than good. Here, the installation clearly lacked the expertise of an accessibility expert. However, this shortcoming was more than compensated for by the helpfulness, friendliness and flexibility of the manager and all employees. Service is very important at this hotel. This was also evident at breakfast. We have rarely seen a buffet as carefully looked after as at La Bastide. It is partly stocked with organic products and is permanently refilled fresh. Everything up to the coffee was of excellent quality. Compared to the very hustle and bustle of the coastline paved with skyscrapers, Biot is an oasis of tranquillity, at least in the low season, which can be enjoyed very pleasantly at La Bastide. We can recommend the hotel.

Excellent hotel

Great stay, great
As soon as you enter the small hotel complex and the welcome you realize that you have chosen correctly.
Wonderfully maintained and beautiful garden and pool area.
Very nice terrace and fireplace room.
The rooms tastefully decorated and very clean. Very good bed.
Excellent breakfast.
Exceptionally friendly and attentive staff.
Highly recommended
