Beautiful stay close to nature

We were absolutely stunned about Eagle View Escape. I booked this as a surprise for my partners birthday as he wanted us to go away for a weekend. Everything exceeded our expectations. The views, the spa, fireplace (recommend going in winter), and the staff was so lovely. The alpacas on the grounds were so cute and we also saw wallabies and wombats outside our window at dusk. Would definitely go again.

Heaven on earth

We had the most amazing time. It was so serene and peaceful. Joel was simply amazing. we enjoyed home-cooked meals. Our room was amazing with the most spectacular view you can imagine. All the staff there from Natalie, to Joel’s wife, went over and beyond to make our stay amazing. If you’re looking to get away from the rush of city life and just to relax and unwind and to maintain calmness this is the place foryou.

Highly recommend so relaxing and beautiful views great communication with staff and very friendly . Dinner was so good and feeding of the alpacas was great. Was a great weekend away

Peaceful, stunning, relaxing, worthwile

Eagle veiw escape is as beautiful and peaceful as the pictures. I don't spend money lightly, but it was worth every cent.
Two nights in the blue mountains at this escape felt like a whole week away!
Last five minutes of the drive were a bit scary (very narrow two way dirt road, so many pot holes, on the edge of the mountain), however, so worth it!
Joel in reception was lovely. The lounge looked great (although we stuck to our beautiful room) and guests can feed the alpaccas some afternoons (again we stuck to our room). We did go for a walk and sit in the swing to look at the stars overlooking Lake Lyell which was incredible, and their were fire pits available.
You need to bring your own food (there was a full kitchen in our room plus a BBQ outside) or order a self catering hamper, or drive 20-ish minutes into town. We didn't try the hampers this time so no feedback.
Kangaroos and the alpaccas walked right in front of our balcony in the morning, so much fun.
The mountain and river views were spectacular. The stars at night were out of this world!
Already putting money away to come back next year. Very worthwile stay.
We stayed in the River View King Spa suite for reference.

Nice location with great views from the rooms. The rooms however do need a modernization (the bathrooms in particular) and the floors were a bit smeary with residue of cleanser. Be aware that the road leading there has many pot-holes (a warning sign would be helpful, especially when arriving in the dark) and while that may not be in the purview of the hotel, those on the driveway and parking area should at least be fixed by the hotel.
