One of the best

Shed or was an excellent hotel with excellent facilities and environment. Staff were extremely helpful. Diyorbek was a regular staff. He was extremely supportive and helpful in a very professional, pleasant patient and polite way. Breakfast was wonderful and the location was great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel we stayed at during our Semerkant trip

The hotel we stayed at on our Semerkant excursion is very clean regular staff very good breakfast very delicious and clean and organized we liked it very hopefully next time we will stay again Recommendation is very close to the sights

A hotel to return to

The building reflects the continental climate with hot summers and cold winters and thus looks a little like a fortress when approached from the street.
The staff was very attentive and helpful
The common areas in and outdoor are very nice and inviting. When temperature permits, the courtyard is a nice place to have coffee/tee and/or read a book
Breakfast is a bit basic with the usual stuff
Big and spacious rooms (complete with hot/cold AC) and bathrooms (complete with hot water)
The best place we stayed while travelling Central Asia. At time of visiting Sherdor did not have Wi-Fi.

Quiet hotel, helpful staff !

The Sherdor looks a little like a fortress when you are approaching it from the street. After you enter the reception area (cool and shady) you are greeted by the helpful young staff. Here you will get any information on sights or restaurants you need and the guys and girls will even get a taxi for you and negitiate the fare! To get to your room you have to pass a courtyard where some day-beds a located; breakfast is served here in this quiet courtyard and you can sit and read a book in the evening. Breakfast consists of bread, sausage, some kind of cottage cheese, tea and eggs or pancakes.To keep them cool, the rooms appear a little dark, but this has to be, although the airconditioner is working properly. Rooms are not luxurious but quite ok. Wooden beds, a small table, TV on the shelf from the wall. Hardly anything you will understand....Bathroom: sometimes a little flooded from the shower cabin, but anything is working, so does the hot water. For dinner you have to go to town; there is not much to choose from. However, when travelling Central Asia you will be lucky to find a clean hotel and friendly staff as at Sherdor Hotel. In fact: I would return.

Very good stay

It was the best hotel during our stay in Uzbekistan. Very-very nice staff, nice and clean rooms, maybe a little small. Very nice and rich breakfast on tapchans in the hotel's atrium. I had food poisoning when we arrived there from Tashkent, so I was sick the first two days there, but the staff was great, they made me rice just to be able to keep my diet. They checked upon me regularly whether I need anything or I feel worse, so they were amazing. One day something broke in our bathroom, we did not notice it, but the staff told us, so we had to change rooms, but the staff was very nice and helpful there too. Air-conditioning is also a big plus. I can only offer Sherdor Hotel to anyone.
