A Samarkand experience and learning for all ...

Great service from front desk - all staff were hands on and problem solvers and smiling unlike our general experience with guides and cab drivers. Its a clean and quiet hotel.
The manager Amonov Amirjon needs special mention. He was amazing !!!
Heres what happened - The cash machine of Kapitalbank took my money and no exchange cash came out !!! The hotel rung the bank many times but they refused to come and open the machine. They said it would take 5 days to return the money !!!! iTS A SCAM!!!! No tourist stays for 5 days in Samarkand. !!! Amir fought for us - and since we were leaving he personally arranged the money to ensure we were compensated. The other staff was also very sympathetic. It's great to have such a hotel in a country where you have a language challenge.
ADVICE- do not use KapitalBank machines ... you will not get your money back!!!! And they are totally non caring.

SPA Garden

Everything was great at SPA Garden. The service and amenities are gorgeous. A great massage after a business trip.
