Sousse is very overrated to my opinion..!!

Location is ok on the one part of the one way system which means driving have to come round. The ambient of the hotel is nice elegant and comfortable and the staff are friendly. Shout out to adel at concierge. Rooms are ok not wow very dated needs and update specially the mini bar the temp is poor. I would say value for money for the entire property has that wow factor and located in the beach at a busy location. Cleanliness is next level super squeaky clean. I was very surprised did not witness any noise issues whatsoever. Amenities could be better more excursions desks for travellers. But the hotel to seemed more catered for the locals rather than international. I opted for the bed and breakfast and the breakfast was pretty repulsive same every morning. And ate out every evening which skipped lunch. The only major issues I witnessed was the taxi’s . They are the biggest scammers of this wonderful country. Firstly tacky old small cars no bigger cars available. Do not care about the meter system. And prices are ridiculously repulsive and take us the tourists for granted. But the major problem is availability is non existent you will wait for long to hail one of your lucky that is. But overall I think Sousse is a bit overrated to my opinion.

BE AWARE: THIS IS NOT A TRUE ALL-INCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE

Our biggest disappointment was the different treatment of all inclusive guests versus outside guests. The hotel allows non all inclusive visitors to use the facilities, and staff clearly prioritise them because they pay directly and can tip.
At the beach restaurant, we actually witnessed staff arguing over who would serve tables with outside guests, while all inclusive guests were ignored. We were passed between three staff members when trying to order simply because we had all inclusive wristbands. The same happened at the pool, where we often had to get our own towels, drinks, and food. All-inclusive guests also receive a very limited menu compared with paying guests.
The overall cleanness was also disappointing: smelly pillows, a blocked sink, stained sun beds, rubbishes left around sun beds for days.
Restaurant service was poor, especially at the beginning. We often had to ask multiple times for basic things, tables weren’t properly cleaned or prepared, and we even found a used water bottle left on our table. Service improved slightly towards the end.
Reception staff were also, in our experience, unfriendly and dismissive.
In my opinion, the main problem is management and the system they have created. The staff seem incentivised to prioritise outside guests who pay directly and tip, while all inclusive guests are treated as less important, even though we have already paid for our stay.
The views are beautiful and the kids’ club staff were lovely, but this is nowhere near the luxury five star all inclusive experience that was advertised. I would not recommend it for an all inclusive holiday.

Felt sad, bit disappointed.

Actually I feel very sad for this hotel. Building itself is defo 5 stars, but management and staff 3 stars not more. You have to tip early to get any service, have to give props to one young guy on dinner who deserved to be tipped from first encounter. In August we didn’t see many European tourists, main mass was locals (full family’s of 8), maybe Algerians and French. By the way local Arabs got way more attention of staff, some times we felt almost discriminated. Room, well quite run down, very dark bathroom. Pool, again as every big hotel has this problem is sunbed reservation, I don’t even know how early you have to get up to reserve sunbed (we went breakfast at 8), and again locals tip pool staff early so the staff reserves them sunbed while they still sleep, quite a pleasure. What we loved is location, short walk and you are in Medina, marina, Ribat. From Sousse you can take louage to nearly every other city for dirt cheap, louages ar comfortable and not crowded how you’d think. Beach is beautiful, fun fact on the beach you most certainly find a sunbed. Food was mediocre, we’ve eaten better food in 4 star hotels. Language mainly French, English. Overall for price we payed and hype we got from our agent we felt disappointed. P.S every evening photoshoot of weddings, literally every evening.
