Probably the best valuein Mukdahan
This is not 5 star, the rates are excellent value and I would stay here again. Three nights in Mukdahan three hotels, this was by far the best one. Internet did not work well in any of the hotels here, in the garden area, not a problem and a nice place to sit.

Just the basics
No breakfast (except free coffee) or any room facilities. WiFi speed not workable
But friendly staff that speak English.Also ample parking at the premises.

just about ok for one night...no more!
I find it appalling that a hotel which advertises itself and accepts bookings on an English speaking website (in my case Agoda) has no-one who can speak even a smattering of English! The hotel has no food or beverage facilities except a coffee shop which seemed to be closed all the time. Not even tea/coffee making facilities in the room! Nothing in the immediate area either!
The rate was not expensive and the room was fine with a massive bed and well decorated...the bathroom too was OK. There was a balcony but it looked out over a car park! There was a computer for guest use in the lobby but I had to be severe to persuade one of the giggling reception staff (or friend) to remove herself from playing games on it so that I could check my emails.
Due to the poor location of the hotel, well away from the centre of the town, very few tuks tuks pass by to hail and so with sign language I asked one of the girl receptionists to phone for a tuk tuk - I told her that I wanted to go to the Mukdahan Tower and showed her a picture of it...she seemd bewildeerd by it and seemed to think it was another hotel I wanted to go to!...even though it is the most prominent land mark in the town.
Not recommended!
