Good Stay
My partner and I have just returned from our trip to Thailand. We spent 8 nights at the hotel. Prior to staying and from reading other reviews, we felt rather apprehensive about staying here although once we got to the hotel it was fine. The hotel is in a great location, close to the view point (the easiest way to walk up), close to the beach and restaurants but out of the way enough not to hear all the noise from the beach clubs. They have been rebranding the hotel and there was a little of noise after 9am as they were decorating the hotel reception area and stairs but we only used the hotel as a base to sleep and get ready for our day/ evenings out and slept well at night. The hotel room itself was new, very clean, comfy bed and had everything we needed for our stay. The shower pressure was good with lots of hot water, shampoo and nice smelling banana shower gel. The air con also worked well. The staff were friendly and efficient and when the card terminal wasn’t working they allowed us to come back later to pay for our stay. I have only deducted a point as we did not receive any communication that there was aesthetic work taking place in the lobby and on the stairs and it did worry us from Reading other reviews. The work looked like it was almost finished and I’m sure it will be great once it is. I would consider staying here again if we ever went back to Phi Phi as I felt it was good value.

Still under construction
We checked into this hotel for 3 nights to find out we were staying on a construction site, they are still decorating and updating the rooms, we were given a room on the top floor, the room was full of mosquitoes. The receptionist didn’t speak much English, beds were comfortable but bathroom was a wet mess whenever someone had to shower. No elevator, it’s only 3 floors but when you have heavy bags, it’s feels like 10..... They are changing the name of the hotel so that’s why I think there are so much renovations, don’t try napping in the afternoon unless you enjoy banging and loads of building noises. Once the hotel is finished maybe it will be a lovely place to stay ♀️.

Disgusting. Do Not Stay at This Hotel
Absolutely terrible would give 0 stars if possible. Booked the hotel thinking it would be good considering the expensive price and star rating. From start to finish, horrid stay. There is NO wifi so bare this in mind when you book. The water is dirty and brown in all the rooms, I will try and add a photo if I can. The guy on reception is most unhelpful person ever. When my brother mentioned the water is brown he just looked at him and said write to my manager.. When I told him there was no wifi, again, he just looked at me blank and told me to write to his manager. No money back, no nothing.. Almost robotic like he must say this to everyone. This hotel should not be open with the brown dirty water running from all the taps and showers in all the rooms. Disgusting. Do not stay at this hotel unless you like washing and brushing your teeth with dirty brown water and enjoy no wifi.

Way overpriced for mediocre quality hotel
Realizing there are limited choices on overcrowded Koh Phi Phi Don, I would not recommend the hotel. There’s only one older woman at reception who doesn’t speak a lick of English. There was a younger shirtless man she kept calling out of a ground floor bedroom to address our issues but he looked hand asleep also could barely speak English and was always annoyed he had to help us. So expect zero professionalism or customer service here. Most importantly the hotel is under construction and is a total mess. Very loud banging during the day. They barely cleaned our room and one day never even cleaned our room. Bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well. No breakfast available if luggage pick up from pier which many guest houses offer and it’s a long way to walk with heavy bags in the tropical heat. Mosquitoes in our room as the hotel is located next to a huge cesspool and it smells like sewage. At 1300 bhat in ‘medium’ season (November) the hotel is a rip off. U less you’re a party animal I would only recommend max 2 nights in phi phi. Do phi phi ley at 7am then around phi phi don in the afternoon. Don’t bother ruff bamboo- you have to pay 400 to get on the island. The boat ride is a little rough. Hire a small wood boat for the day and do both islands on your own. Tour boats looked like a nightmare or stupid tourists snorkeling with noodles!

The staff doesn't speak english
The room and bathroom hasn't been cleaned proper
The aircon couldn't be stopped, we had to remove the key, therefore we had no power
After 9pm, when the reception closes, the hotel is noisy
When you use the shower, you need to leave it running for 5 min, because there is a terrible smell
