Terrible and costly stay.I cut it short.When I left something behind, and rang the owner, he wouldn't even check for me.

Expected more
Straight off the bat, there was a problem because I thought I had booked three nights for two people. It transpired that Agoda had only booked it for one person. I only stayed here by mistake – I wouldn’t have booked such an expensive place to stay (170 Baht a night). The hostel manager told us there were always problems with bookings from Agoda.
The hostel is located in central Chiang Mai. There are ALOT of very cheap restaurants nearby where I ate everyday (50 Baht) and many temples are a short walk away.
I paid a deposit of 200 Baht for a locker key and towel.
I stayed in an 8 bed dorm. The beds had very thin privacy curtains which were pointless because you could see through them. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were clean (or so I thought). One morning, I saw the staff simply straighten the sheets up after a guest left. I would expect clean sheets for every guest if I am to pay 170 Baht a night. The lockers under the beds were very difficult to lock, but could easily fit two big backpacks inside.
There was a big shower/toilet room with 5 showers, 5 toilets and 2 urinals. It was decorated really nicely with flowers. The showers all had shower gel and shampoo. Unfortunately, the toilets didn’t always have tissue paper. Hot water was available. On my first night there, I found some tampons in a little ceramic decoration. I was very excited about this because tampons are expensive in South East Asia.
Unfortunately, someone stole them all. When I went to use one, they were all gone. The staff never replaced them.
The hostel was relatively social. I met a few people there who I remain friends with.
There is a big open common room area where you can sit. When I was there they were installing a few things: microwave, washing machine, dryer, lounge chairs. The washing machine was available for use (30 Baht a load).
I did a bit of work in the common room, though it was hot. Unfortunately, the internet was very bad. It was terrible. There were many networks to join, but none of them worked well. This was very frustrating and expected more from an expensive hostel.
Free breakfast of toast and tea is available. There were a few bananas on some days too. Although it is nice to get breakfast included, I would have expected some eggs or muesli because of the price I was paying.
You can book MANY tours and buses through the hostel. I booked a day long tour at an elephant sanctuary (Johnny Boy Treks) and a bus to Pai through the hostel.
The hostel does not sell food or alcohol.
The staff were very nice and polite.
