Hats off!

The Hotel Bellevue-Pinte surprises and impresses with modern, newly renovated and clean rooms at an accurate price and all this in a central and best location: a stone's throw away from the First ski area and the bus stop less than 30m away (e.g.: to the terminal and then up to the yoke, to the glacier gorge etc.). Breakfast is taken in the partner hotel Bergwelt Grindelwald and really leaves nothing to be desired! (We looked forward to the morning's breakfast every evening). For us, however, the real highlight was the Restaurant Bellevue-Pinte (the oldest inn in Grindelwald, located on the ground floor of the hotel of the same name) with its excellent Swiss cuisine, which we can only recommend without reservation: excellent taste, the dishes beautifully presented without being too playful and the consistent quality of the food (even when the restaurant is fully booked!) Chapeau, worthy of all praise!

Tourist trap

Hotel that sits on the main road with heavy road traffic and sidewalks full of tourists. There is a bar on the opposite side of the road, then people yelling until late. Some shared toilets on the landing with overflowing bin when we arrived. Haven’t tested the restaurant yet. The room is clean.

Hotel Noisy

Location is great & price attracted me…. But I could literally tell you every-tine the restaurant below put the dishwasher on! Soooo disappointed with noise from restaurant, as although closed by 10ish, loads of activity after this - which sounded like dragging furniture around and banging doors way beyond closing time. When asked by resort about stay, I expected they wanted a review, but I must’ve been erased from their emails due to explaining I’d never book again. The room is nicely furnished. You would benefit from bringing a wee travel kettle with you. No fridge, very basic, but that’s what you’re paying for. As I said location great for accessing first and Grindlewald station, but wouldn’t recommend to friends as noise ridiculous and totally impacts sleep when you want to get up early to make the most of the surroundings. You’re not here for nightlife!

Positive surprise

Very nice hotel room. Quite a surprise. From the outside a typical old Swiss mountain house, from the inside modern and comfortable rooms.
We took the breakfast in the neighboring hotel. And it was excellent !!!
The minus are the swiss hotel prices. At least here you getting value for quite some money

Good hotel with a great view and good service

Good Breakfast with a great view and good service. Great customer service. I highly recommend this hotel. The room was so clean and comfortable. The location near to the train station, highly recommends this hotel.
