SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE
We bought a day pass ( 50tala each) to this beautiful place. The total cost of the pass is deducted from any money spent on food and drink. It also allows thr use of all pools and the several different beaches. Well worth the cost. The resort is absolutely beautiful. Situtated close to the airport and fairly isolated, it is the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Disappointment
The rooms were a little dated but comfortable with a nice outlook. The staff were friendly but the service was terribly slow and the hotel was relatively quiet when we were there. The food was almost inedible - every single meal we ordered for dinner was practically inedible and took hours to arrive. Also, when we first checked in my husband confirmed twice that we had arranged an airport transfer and we were assured it was booked. However when we got down to reception at 3.00am not one staff member had knowledge of this request which caused our whole family extreme stress. Overall, a very disappointing stay - we would be very reluctant to return.

If you are looking for the Samoan Faulty Towers, look no further.
Stayed 3 nights, they stuffed up the reservation, aircon had a n essence of sewer water, and nothing like paying five star prices for a 3 star experience.

Tired and certainly NOT the Sheraton any longer
I'm sorry but a 4 star Resort this is not !! We arrived at the Samoa Beach Resort after a 15 year absence from visiting Samoa looking forward to a relaxing and carefree break in the sun.
After no hot water for the first two days, we moved rooms to find no power for 24 hours and then no Smart TV/internet connection for a further 2 days.
Replacement bathroom towels depended solely on whether or not the previous days' dirty towels had been washed and dried in time to be replaced in 24 hours. The bar ran out of ice twice in a week and the happy hour wine selection was always limited to one choice of red or white, assuming that there was a choice of either !!
The pervading smell of sewerage greeted us each morning on the way to breakfast where the only HOT dish on the limited choice buffet was the cooked to order eggs !!
The staff were excellent however, always smiling and happy to help out whenever they could but an apparent lack of repairs and maintenance at the Resort in recent years made it very difficult for them to satisfy Guests' requests.
You cannot demand Resort tariffs if you do not deliver a Resort product.
My advice is to avoid the Samoa Beach Resort if you have an alternative Samoa accommodation option.
