The W Prague Exceeded Every Expectation - My Favorite Hotel in Europe
The W Prague has officially become my new favorite hotel in Europe. Traveled with my family and first time to Prague.
From the moment I arrived, I knew this was going to be a special stay. A heartfelt thank you to Denisa and the entire concierge team, whose service went above and beyond in every way. They were warm, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every moment of our visit memorable. Whether it was recommendations, reservations, or thoughtful personal touches, their hospitality was truly world-class and elevated our entire experience.
The hotel itself is breathtaking beautiful with the design and architecture. Housed within the beautifully restored historic Grand Hotel Evropa, the stunning Art Nouveau architecture blends seamlessly with bold contemporary design. Every space feels like a work of art—from the spectacular lobby to the beautifully designed guest rooms. If you appreciate exceptional interior design and architecture, you’ll be amazed. The W Prague reopened in March 2025 after an extensive restoration, and it is absolutely spectacular.
The spa was spectacular! Rooftop bar and restaurant had incredible views of the city.
Its location on Wenceslas Square is perfect location but under construction.
I can’t wait to return, and I wholeheartedly recommend the W Prague to anyone visiting one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. This is, without a doubt, my new favorite hotel in Europe.

W-ow W-ow W-ow !
Really enjoyed our stay at W Prague.
The room was great! modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Everything felt fresh and comfortable. The spa was probably my favourite part. It was super quiet and relaxing, the perfect spot to unwind and recharge.
A big shoutout to Alvaro though, he genuinely made our trip better. He paid attention to the little things and you can tell he actually enjoys what he does. That kind of service gives a W-ow effect .
The rest of the staff was also very friendly and helpful throughout. Overall, the hotel has a cool, laid-back vibe that I really liked.
Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a stylish place in Prague.

Lacked character and attentiveness, food issue
I booked a night at the W through Amex Fine Hotels and overall had a disappointing stay - especially for the steep price. The hotel itself is beautfiul and each space is a great atomosphere. It feels very high end and thoughtful. They need to warm guests the entire street in fron of them is a demolition zone and it completely ruins the experience from the moment you step outside of a cab doors down. The person who checked me in was really nice, but I didn't feel anyone else went above and beyond to make my stay special. The hotel felt pretty empty so I was shocked I didn't receive a room upgrade between Amex and Bonvoy status. The bathroom was spectacular, aside from needing more ventilation, it was incredible. Aside from that the room was basic and overlooked essentially what looked like a parking lot. For my first day in Prague it was disappointing and felt cramped and less high end art and style as has been talked about. The bed was comfy but the lights can be frustrating. What really started to go downhill was eating on the rooftop where I believe I was served undercooked chicken. I cancelled some plans not feeling well and ordered room service to help my stomach. I didn't sleep as great because although the thermostat allows it to go down to very low temps, it is more of a fan. The next day I shared my dining experience and they were kind and brought me tea, and comped the uncooked chicken dinner. I expected a little more given I've been in the room ill most of the time. They offered me 5k bonvoy points which honestly felt a little offensive given that does nothing with their redemption rates now. I had already treated myself to an expensive night and put charges on the room. The whack part was after I checked out I never received a folio, and when I did it had the meal still on. They claimed to rectify, but then I got an email to accounting saying I owe money from a restaurant bill. I have never got that at any Marriott property. Nobody followed up with me either. Wasn't able to use spa amenities but heard it was nice. I really liked the property but am unsure after the experience

Great breakfast with gluten free options
Very nice breakfast menu and the gluten free options are great. Staff very courteous and efficient.

More Than Just Breakfast: An Exceptional Hospitality Experience
What a wonderful experience at W Prague! Aside from the beautiful design, elegant atmosphere, and delicious food, what truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality of the team.
From the moment I arrived for breakfast, Ruslana welcomed me with a warm smile that made me feel instantly at home. Julie was amazing, serving with genuine enthusiasm and care, while Kylie’s attentiveness, friendliness, and leadership truly stood out. You can clearly see how her positive energy inspires the entire team to deliver such great service.
It was my first time at W Prague, but definitely not my last. Thank you to this amazing team. I look forward to coming back again!
