Great Location - Lovely Hotel
Great Location, the rooms were spacious and clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Superb value for money. We enjoyed our stay throughout.

Where Dreams of a Nice Short Break go to die.
When you pay £120 for a Triple room you expect basic things OK? The front of the property looks like 2 different Hotels so obviously you walk into the one with Gresham Sign!
Wrong , this takes you to an abandoned foyer that time forgot.
The frontage is littered with pallets, rubbish and cheap un-matching, chairs and tables. It takes only 15 mins for even the laziest person to tidy up this area.
Try again, using the other entrance you will find a hole in the wall where the receptionist / manager hide around the corner from view.

The room wasn’t ready at all, Still untouched after a family of wild animals had been living in there for 2 weeks!
The cleaner moaned as she hadn’t got a list of the Rooms she should be cleaning.
New room was 34 which had fortunately been prepared.
Cling film on bed with Wheels which moves around when you sit on it. The Headboard creaked every time you moved.
The bathroom and shower is tiny. Shower gel fixed to wall which fell of when you touch it.
Shower pressure was pathetic.
TV was 1992 15” Hitachi. Remote half together with sellotape.
Wooden window frames need to be treated carefully as they may disintegrate at any time.
Breakfast, Wow. Only warm food was boiled eggs, and beans on a warm plate which ran out after the number of people reached 10 in the dining room / bar. When the next batch of baked beans came out they were cold. They literally had 2 warm breakfast items to prepare and managed to fuc£ that up.
Very basic continental breakfast with low quality cereals and preserves.
Yes, you heard it. Blackpool “Hotel” with no full English Breakfast.
Decor and upkeep of Hotel is poor with no redeeming features.
£6.20 a pint of Spanish beer. Didn’t try anything else as the only other occupant of the bar was a woman who was auditioning for Jerry Springer over the phone probably, or maybe just arguing with a Family member.
The Gresham is a crap Hotel, Where Dreams of a Satisfactory short Break go to Die. Under motivated and probably demoralised staff. No Leadership or energy.
Blackpool is on life support. The creeping influx of new housing on the close perimeters will eventually pull the plug on this traditional destination.
The standards have slowly dropped every time I have been here. I could not envisage spending more than 24 hours here. Maybe if I was 21 again and only interested in alcohol, deep fried food and drunken Women.
Unfortunately I won’t be back to witness the inevitable further decline.

Room had no curtains, only a vertical blind with slats missing! No toiletries in room, shower took ages to get hot water and finally breakfast very poor. The plus side is good location with plenty of reasonable priced parking opposite.

At breakfast you have to make your own coffee with dried power sachets . Ok, but the water in the boiler was cold as they hadn't turned it on.
Whole breakfast area was dirty and badly maintained.
Good that it was cheap so I shouldn't have expected much.

Absolutely shocking hotel. Pictures look fine but not what is actually there. This place is now using the name Gresham but is actually what was the Comfort Inn.
The staff are rude. Very unsavoury people hanging around outside. Possibly offering their services to people staying there.
I was locked out at one point and asked by one of the staff if I was trying to bring two ladies in with me!!
The lift wasn’t working, the shower only dribbled out cold water even after being on for a while to try and warm it up.
Room and the hotel in general didn’t feel very clean.
Doors banging for hours during the night. People shouting and seemed to be a lot of strange movements going on all throughout the night. Fine if you don’t want any sleep!!
You’d be better giving this dump a swerve and stay somewhere else. Definitely nothing like the pictures used on this site. It’s a terrible place that Hotels.com really should consider removing from its list of recommended places to book.
