Fantastic Masai Mara safari experience

Kambu Camp is such a gem that I am so happy we discovered! We booked their 3-day budget safari package on their website, which included return transfers from / to Nairobi, 2 nights of accommodation in a tent (with an attached bathroom), a full-day 12-hour game drive, and all meals at the camp. We fell in love with the camp from the moment we arrived, when we were greeted by the sight of zebras just on the other side of the fence outside our tent! We loved sitting on our little porch watching them for hours.
On the afternoon of our arrival, we decided to book the guided walk with Nelson, which ended up being one of the highlights from our entire 2 week trip to Kenya and Tanzania. We saw giraffes, zebras, and warthogs on our walk, and Nelson also helped us identify a hyena den and various plants. It was so cool spotting these animals while out walking, instead of being in a jeep. Highly recommend booking the walk with Nelson.
Our full-day game drive with Alan was absolutely fantastic. He was an incredible guide who clearly knows the park very well. We saw all of the Big 5 as well as the Great Migration, plus cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas and so many other animals. Truly could not have asked for anything more.

Great experience

My spouse and I stayed here for three nights and were more than satisfied! The value for money is really good.
The staff was wonderful, and that contributed a lot to our overall enjoyment! Everything went smoothly and flexibly.
There were a few things we needed to confirm in advance for our own sake. Nathan answered all our questions and was helpful and friendly in every way as we planned our trip.
Then there was Eric, the best of the best—our guide and driver on the three-day trip with two safaris. A wonderful person and a true professional❤️

Great camp

Great location with the friendliest staff. Giraffe and elephant come close to the camp. Very safe with electric fence protecting the site. Food portions were very big and very tasty.
Nelson walk in the wilderness is a must !!

Best time of our lives

Kambu Camp was incredibly nice and their staff are amazing. However what made our trip so special were our two outstanding tour guides Andrew and Brian. They were so insightful and answered all our questions - so much so that we saw all of the big five on our first day! I couldn’t recommend Kambu, Andrew and Brian enough!

A wonderful stay for our family

A beautiful camp for us as a family.
Thank you for 3 unforgettable days.
Very friendly staff. The chef Nelson accommodated our children's wishes.
Smooth process and organization of the game drives.
Transfer from Nairobi and onward journey to Naivasha (thanks to John)
Numerous play options for children in the lobby and in the outdoor area.
