Wellness Retreat in Urubamba, Peru 2026

It was such a beautiful and serene place. There is no TV, phone or WiFi available in the room, so it forced me to be disconnected with the outside world, so to speak. BUT! I got to truly relax, read books, meditate, practice yoga, or just stroll in the beautiful garden. I had a very enjoyable time during my stay.

Magical and majestic!

I can’t recommend Willka T’ika highly enough for the kind of experience that is restful, regenerative, and expansive. Their 7-day retreat is a magical dive into yourself, your connection to the earth, and the majestic mountains and culture of this sacred place. Food is delicious, the staff is welcoming, and the rooms are beautiful. It’s perfect for couples, teams, or solo travelers. You will get more than you pay for!

Retreat

I chose Wilkatika for its location and the spirituality this place is known for. Their program sounded amazing, and I would have embraced it 100% if dogs were not allowed at the ceremonies and teachings.The site itself is beautiful, and the offerings—from the massages and crystal treatments to the cacao ceremony and teachings—were truly special.Overall, it’s a wonderful retreat with so much to offer, but in my humble opinion, the presence of dogs during ceremonies takes away a bit from the sacred atmosphere.

Magical stay in the Sacred Valley

Willka T’ika is a beautiful, very comfortable and practical place to stay in the Urubamba valley.
The gardens are gorgeous and peaceful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there is easy access to everything the Sacred Valley has to offer.
Terry, Tristen and their staff are wonderful hosts.
The spa treatments are great (massages and sun baths in particular).
We were there on our own (not as a part of an organized wellness or yoga retreat).

Hawaiian woman visits Urubamba

I walked into a welcoming and beautiful setting behind the Willka Tika gate and was graciously greeted by the staff. My room was lucious and the gardens serene and healing. I enjoyed great vegetarian food, hikes to ruins and i. forests, followed by in house spa treatments. Very comfortable for a female traveling alone. I plan to return soon!
