More like a good hostel

The place is like a house, the beds are a little uncomfortable and the sheet is very heavy, there is no heating, friendly service, hot water and wifi, they change the sheets and towels every day, breakfast is included and is quite basic.

AVOID THIS HOTEL!

The worst experience of my life. Do not believe the pictures they have on their website, because in reality it does not look like that AT ALL. The room was extremely cold at night, and when we asked for a heater they gave us one that couldn't warm up the place properly. The bed was hard as rock, impossible to sleep. The pillows were very flat almost like there was no foam at all. I booked this hotel for 3 nights and paid in advance, unfortunately i was only able to stay 1 night due to medical reasons, when i asked for the money back for the other 2 nights they refused to give it to me, saying that i can use those 2 nights some other time within the next year. I explained that i don't live in Peru and for me is impossible to come back in 1 year and on top of that why would i come back to such a disgusting hotel. If you're going to Cusco, make sure you go to anywhere but this hotel!

Avoid or get frustrated

Spend two nights in Urpi and regret it. The staff is surely the most unfriendly people in the region. Finding the room for us meant getting into occupied rooms and looking for another. Would be a nice touch if they knew which rooms are taken. Beeing tired after a long trip and walking countless stairs up and down in two seperate buildings is a chore. Shame. The other time we've experience the same problem. The rooms are freezing cold in the night with some old furniture and stains. The smell is plainly wrong, and it gets really noisy during nights.
Wifi is faulty, the staff is pathologically impolite - they requested us to pay extra for dirty towels since they are unable to clean it themselves. Gives You the idea of hygene in the hostel.
The location is reasonable, walking distance to city center, yet the neighbourhood is not very friendly and didnt seem safe.
The breakfast is basic, as basic as it can be.
To sum up, AVOID the hotel
