Very Disappointing Stay – Security and Maintenance Issues
We’ve stayed at this property for the past four years, and unfortunately this was our most disappointing experience to date.
On arrival, there was confusion around our reservation. Despite it being confirmed and paid via Booking.com, the property had no record of my reservation on arrival. We were then asked to complete a separate form through their Mews system before check-in could be processed. As returning guests, this was unexpected and made the arrival more stressful than it needed to be.
The most significant issue, however, was that the apartment door could not be properly secured due to a fault. While this was eventually resolved, we had to leave the apartment while the door would not lock, which caused understandable concern about the safety of our belongings.
In addition, the overall condition of the apartment has noticeably declined compared to previous stays. There was visible wear and damage, including a peeling and cracked headboard and scuffed walls, which did not reflect the standard we had come to expect. The kitchen supplies were also very minimal, with only a few small knives and a couple of basic utensils provided.
Staff were polite in communication, and a €50 refund was offered (approximately 10.7% of the €469 total stay). However, despite repeatedly raising our concerns and requesting what we felt was a fair and proportionate resolution, the property maintained they were not in a position to offer more.
Following this, the refund process itself has been slow and inconsistent. Over six days passed after providing bank details before being informed the transfer had not gone through, and despite promptly confirming details and following up, there has been no further response for several days. It has now been over three weeks since checking out, with no resolution, refund or meaningful update.
Overall, this experience — both during and after the stay — did not meet expectations.

Mooie locatie, goed appartement maar zeer slechte service vanuit Central Studios
Pluspunten:
Het appartement was ruim en schoon. Appartement lag aan de achterkant van het pand dus het was wel lekker rustig in de nacht.
Ruime nette keuken met een inductiekookplaat. Maar héél weinig keukeninventaris.
Douche is prima met een redelijk harde waterstraal.
Bedden zijn ook prima. In ieder geval heel goed geslapen. ;-)
De ligging t.o.v. Den Haag C.S. (2 minuten lopen) en het centrum (10 minuten lopen) is optimaal.
Minpunten:
Het contact met Central Studios is héél slecht. Welke vraag je ook stelt en op welke manier ook je krijg totaal GEEN reactie van Central Studios. Ze hebben meerdere contactmogelijkheden maar ze reageren nergens op.
Je krijgt geen fysieke sleutel of kaart (kun je ze ook niet verliezen) maar een digitale sleutel die je via een website op je telefoon moet bedienen om de centrale toegangsdeur en de deur van je appartement te openen. Je krijgt pas 2 uur voor aankomst een mail met de instructies en de mogelijkheid om de digitale sleutel te activeren. Geef dus gewoon aan dat je om 15 uur aankomt ook al kom je later.
Wat tegenviel van het appartement (begane grond) is dat je de patio deelt met het appartement ernaast. Geen enkele privacy. De tweepersoonsslaapkamer heeft geen enkel raam en het was er benauwd. De slaapkamer met het stapelbed heeft een klein bovenraam dat gelukkig open kon net als het kleine raam boven de tuindeur.
Bij aankomst waren er voldoende handdoeken maar er was alleen een dekbedovertrek voor het tweepersoonbed klaar gelegd. Voor de stapelbedden waren er geen overtrekken. Aangezien Central Studio's toch nergens op reageert hebben wij hier maar geen energie meer ingestoken.
