Romantic and memorable stay
We stayed in room 902 and had wrap around sea views (see pics). Food at bar five was delicious, portions very generous and atmosphere relaxing.I recommend the bitterballen and pancakes!
Views from the Sky bar were spectacular, we could see both ends of a rainbow on the first night and it was a magical moment. Decor and vibe was very boujee, we loved it!
Tram stop is a 4 min walk from Hotel and was quick and easy to get the city center. Staff were friendly and reliably helpful.
Overall we had a wonderfully romantic and relaxing stay, we highly recommend this hotel if you prefer to stay at a quiet base away from the hussle and bussle of the city.
We also ate at a few local resturants which were all reasonably priced and within a 5 minute walk from the hotel, theres an ice cream shop,turkish,italian,tai,smash burgers,bistros etc (plenty to choose from).

A good cheaper alternative to more central hotels.
The hotel is situated approximately 30min train ride away from Centraal Station, with a short walk the other end. This represented a significant saving over the cost of a hotel in the centre of Amsterdam for our 4 day visit, so played a part in our decision. The hotel itself was situated on the edge of a pleasant little marina, it was clean and tidy with modern décor throughout and didn’t seem particularly busy. The only thing my wife found frustrating about the room was having no power point where the vanity mirror/desk was situated, meaning she had to continually cross the room when doing her hair. I like to sleep with the window open to get fresh air, but the two nights I did this I got continually woken up by shouting below & cars doing burnouts… So had to avoid, seemingly not being quietest location at night. We only had breakfast at the hotel and would say there was a sufficient selection of options although the cooked breakfast was not particularly great. Located on the opposite side of the marina I would however highly recommend a Thai restaurant called ‘KOH’.. as the food here was fantastic. The Sky bar was a bit of a disappointment, as I expected an open top terrace, but it is more like a small balcony…all be it a nice spot for an evening drink. Staff were friendly on the little interaction we had with them and overall I say it represented a good cheaper alternative to more central hotels.

Bad experience
Around 2:00 AM, while we were sleeping, water started leaking through the ceiling and came out through a light fixture. As an electrician, I know very well how dangerous this can be. Water and electricity can cause serious electrical hazards and potentially put guests at risk.
The water also fell directly onto our clothes, ruining our sleep and significantly affecting our stay. The hotel itself is nice, but unfortunately, the way this incident was handled was very disappointing.
The reception offered me the room next door, but not even an upgrade or any meaningful compensation. A four-star hotel should know that this is not how you treat guests, especially when there has been a serious safety issue.
A nice hotel, but based on our experience, I don’t believe it deserves four stars.

I received the room key from front desk , when i open the door, someone staying at that room, then I go to front desk complaint, they said not the problem from them, problem from reservation department

Comfort room at a low standard
Room small and dark! Window only 50 cm wide, the rest is bricked up. Electric kettle very dirty. Food and service leave a lot to be desired! Parking garage available, however 29.50 per day. German is not spoken at all, even though it says so on the homepage. Location ok, but far away from the city...too bad.
