Campsite down from hotel

Camping at the bottom of the hill from the spa hotel. Facilities all fine need the fob to get in and out.

Great camping!

Very nice facilities. Clean and tidy everywhere. Newly renovated kitchen, good shower with toilet in the same room. Accommodating staff both on arrival and at email contact before arrival. Short walk to the bridge mount and fishing.

Big premises, not super cozy, but all you need

The tent area isn’t especially cozy or charming, but at least it was easy to find a space. The camping itself is pretty large with a variety of rooms and cabins of all sizes, plus plenty room for RV’s.
The combined toilets and showers were not gender specific, but they were clean and offered good privacy.
The location is superbe, and this is the right place to stay if you want to stay close to Saltstrømmen! The maelstrom is only a few minutes walk away, and there’s a very good grocery store (Prix) right on the other side of the bridge.
NB: Be mindful of the seagulls, they scream all night so a set of ear plugs might come in handy, especially if you’re sleeping in a tent.

Good campsite, friendly staff

It is a very nice campsite with good space for tents. Ikkje long way to the store, and short distance to the fjord. Clean toilet, nice kitchen for shared use. There is a playground that is best suited for smaller children, but right next to the campsite there is a skull where larger children can find something to do.

In the future, we will inspect the cottage in advance before paying. A high price does not guarantee quality.

The price/quality ratio was not good. The lack of a freezer compartment was the smallest problem. 2 bedrooms with "children's" bunk beds. It's hard to even get to the lowest bed. The window in the second bedroom wouldn't close. I covered the window with a pillow for the night. The thermostat was set to +50C when I arrived. In the summer, the seagulls are annoying. Plus: The price includes bed linen.
