Beautiful villa

The villa was absolutely lovely. It was very spacious and comfortable with a small private pool and a small waterhole with visiting wildlife. We did not stay long enough to really get the benefit of this and I think a few days here would have been wonderful.
The food was good and the staff were friendly. For the price this hotel lacked the small touches and you quality you would expect but if you want large space and your own private wildlife viewing area then this is a great place to stay.

Better than perfection is excellence. This place is part of it and they are very rare in the world.

Our suite is of a very high standard in excellence: bravo the photos alone are enough. The place is beautiful and the service is of the same standard. The meal in the heart of nature is also very well presented and the decoration and the atmosphere are there. Our best experience in Namibia.

Amazing Mushara!

The room was so spacious and beautiful decorated!! The was amazing, the chef did a great work! And finally, the game drive with our guide Petrus was beyond our expectations, he is so experienced and he became a great part of our journey!!

Dreamlike Villa within Mushara Lodge

we stayed 2 nights in Villa Mushara, which is part of Mushara Lodge, as part of our 14-day round trip (a short, gridded walk leads to the two villas)
The proximity to Lindequist Gate is perfect and the general areas are well maintained. if the facility is full, parking may get a bit tight.
we had the All Inclusive package - in addition to all meals, minibar (very well filled!) and drinks were also included 2 private game drives as well as laundry service, which we found very pleasant and worked well.
The Villa is a dream, huge, quiet and furnished and decorated with great attention to detail. Only the "Plunge pool" is useless and wasteful water and energy resources (pump), because just so big that you can cool your feet ;-)
Culinary offerings and services are linked to Mushara Lodge, overall very good but not outstanding. Dinner was a 3 course solid quality (choice of main course had to be announced at breakfast) at dinner we were never asked if we still wanted to order drinks, although the glasses were obviously empty.
Overall a nice stay, but presumably next time we would take a chalet at the lodge. Here the price-performance ratio is better;-)

Wonderful level 10

Of all places in Namibia, this ranks in the top 10. Fantastic location, service and dinning. Not to belittle the excellent dinning or location (we saw a lion from our on suite swimmingpool) it is worth mentioning that the service at Mushara is the best trained and observant that I have ever encountered.
Often at even top hotels and lodges the training of the services, even if just little things is missing. At Mushara nothing is missing! A guide even checks the path to your room ahead of you to be sure that there are no lions and each chef in the open african style lapa presents their dish before it is serviced or you can select yourself. Oryx steak is super!
