Summit is newly-opened, well-decorated guesthouses

Summit guesthouse is near from UB shopping mall, Seoul Plaza, and lately become the hottest spot in UB the "Flashlight Street". Guesthouse's interior very westernized and well-decorated. Service was at its best. Thank you for hosting me, and by the way, the guesthouse also has service for who loved climbing in mountains.

An experience in every sense of the word...

- Almost impossible to find: The building is a ruin (truly!) and located in the middle of nowhere. There are no signs and nothing else that would indicate the location. Nobody in the shops on the streets around have ever heard of the place. Even if you do find the building, you simply cannot believe you are right, when you enter it to climb the staircase (4th floor).
- There is no staff in the sense of the word. Two ca. 16yr old girls are there full day, playing with their smartphones. They are „staff“. One of them does not speak a single word of English, the other one understands only what she wants to understand, and is actually pretty annoying (Wanted us to pay upfront, in cash of course...)
Overall, it does not at all look and feel like an „official“ hotel, but rather like someone renovated their flat and rents out rooms in it...
+ Rooms are clean and nice.
+ OK-ish internet access.
+ Laundry service is possible.
+ Breakfast is okay.
- Shared bathrooms only, which are so-so clean.
Good price/performance.

Beautiful place

Very nice and clean inside (like the photos) even if the building is very ugly
Very hard to find because there is no sign on the building or on the door.
Hard mattress like everywhere I went in Mongolia
