Great stay!

Me and my partner booked our stay with at ether hotel for a week. It was my birthday trip and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They messaged often to check in and make sure that we were happy with the room and if it needed cleaning or if we needed any help with booking on site Holistic healing services.
The room itself was absolutely beautiful, very clean and it was very nice having the option of a fan as well as AC.
We had a few times where the remote for the AC wasn't working for us, but they were very quick to fix it and help us.
The resort itself is fairly new and has so many unique parts to the piece of property itself. It was very nice having a bar/restaurant sitting area during the week and service to the beach as well was a cherry on top.
We utilized the piece of property to the full extent and they were also very accommodating when it came to booking a full service taxi to and from the airport for us.
They don't yet have a sign on the exterior, so finding it was a little tricky, but I assume they have that In the works! They sent detailed information when it came to finding the place and wifi, parking etc.
Highly recommend.

AMAZING STAY AT ETHER TULUM HOTEL

We had such a lovely time at Ether. It feels like real tulum, tucked away on the beach, private and perfect. The staff was excellent , the food and drinks were delicious.. and the rooms super comfortable and well done. It was perfect for the entire family. And very close to all other hotels and restaurants.. so can walk mostly everywhere. We will definitely be back!

Three star hotel with friendly, helpful staff

Ether is a true three-star experience with good, clean rooms and immediate beach access. There's no street signage, which can make it difficult to find. The highlight is the staff, who are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They even managed to call someone in to help when our rental car wouldn't start as we went to leave. If you want a four star experience, try Nest about 100 yards down the road, but Ether is certainly good for the price.

WARNING!

WARNING! I booked a reservation with a flexible rate (which is refundable) for March and I have been trying to cancel it for about 3 weeks now. They will not respond nor refund according to their policy. There is no communication by phone. I've communicated via whatsapp messages and they keep asking me to be patient. I would stay away! Very upsetting.

Shitty hostel vibe to over price

Incredibly disappointed in every way. Feels like a hostel but with pricing like a more expensive hotel. The children's room was located on top of the kitchen and was only accessed by walking through the kitchen. It was also closest to the street and was extremely traffic disrupted around the clock. The wardrobe was in the bathroom and could not be used when someone was in the bathroom. The windows were dirty and had no curtains. Our room was beautiful but lacked glass in the windows, only mosquito nets. The shower barely had water and the hot water was always exhausted.
The pool was small and unfresh, the garden dark, the room cages not marked so it was difficult to orientate.
Expensive breakfast and small portions.
We had booked a week, but left early. Total disappointment, not worth its price by a long shot. Can absolutely not recommend it!
It just looks nice in the picture, but that's all. Really poorly planned and poor energy on site, staff and overall experience. Shitty hostel vibe at over rate!
