Beautiful design, great location - with a few things to be aware of

Casa Almamía is a beautifully designed property. Both the exterior of the building and the interiors are stunning. I stayed in a standard room with a window looking out onto the street, and it was very well done - comfortable bed, excellent pillows, and a well-stocked bathroom. From a design perspective, it really stands out.
I want to address a couple of the common negative points. Yes, there is some noise, but this is to be expected. You are in one of the busiest parts of Roma Norte. I was staying above the bar on a Sunday night and it was absolutely fine. If you are looking for complete peace and quiet, this probably isn’t the right area in general.
I did have a small issue with the hot water, but the staff handled it quickly and professionally. All the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay, including the security guard, which made a difference.
There is no traditional breakfast offering, which is worth knowing in advance. That said, it’s not really a drawback given the location. You are surrounded by excellent options, and there’s a Joe & The Juice right next door for coffee and a quick breakfast.
The standout for me was the restaurant. Lunch was exceptional - the food was spectacular, the service excellent, and the chef even came out to greet us. Special mention to Fernando, who made one of the best guacamoles I’ve had. Also nearby is Tacos del Valle, which is well worth a visit.
Overall, I would recommend Casa Almamía if you want to stay in a lively, central area with great food and atmosphere. You may need to accept some trade-offs on noise and breakfast, but that comes with the location.
I enjoyed it enough that I’m actually staying there again this week.

There were no working electrical outlets in the room. No windows, poor air circulation, and the noise from the local clubs on a weeknight were intolerable

Incredible Staff and Quality Room

My wife and I found this place on Hotel Tonight for a pretty decent price. The first thing we noticed was the incredible staff. The people who helped us were incredibly kind and welcoming and gave us some great suggestions on where we could go eat after getting in kind of late.
The location is great and very centralized. It was a bit hot in the room and dark, but not unbearably so.
It could be because we were tired, but the street noise was hardly noticeable. It was also a Wednesday night so that may have something to do with it. Either way the hotel provided complimentary ear plugs in case we need them.
Overall an incredible experience and we'd gladly stay there again.

Cozy, unique room in a well designed building and a great location.

Casa Almamia is in a great location! A 20 minute walk can get you just about anywhere you would want to go in the area. The building’s exterior is charming with beautiful architecture. The interior of the space is very thoughtfully designed and well executed; the juxtaposition of the interior and exterior is stunning. The room itself was very nicely done; again thoughtfully designed and well crafted. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was always super friendly and accommodating.
