“Beautiful” and “good” are two appropriate words to define this Riad! Bernard and Hassan make your stay a success
The kitchen is delicious! Hassan is passionate about subtle recipes , with quality products.
Bernard tells you the addresses in the medina to favor
The welcome is remarkable throughout the stay with support on request. While emphasizing discretion
Our room “Salma” very spacious, overlooking the green patio
We highly recommend this quiet Riad and well located in the medina.

enchanting stay

These 4 days at Riad Souafine have delighted us by the very warm welcome of the owner, always ready to help, advise... This riad has been restored with finesse, taste and comfort by restoring the charm of the large houses mowed. It is very well located to discover the city. Breakfasts and dinners are delicious and varied. We will not fail to return.

Unforgettable Moments

Very refined riad in Medina, beautifully and richly restored in the full respect of the tradition. Bernard is a welcoming host with fine advice on what to do and see, where and how to shop. We learned a lot from him about Medina and Fes. And Hassan’s exquisite cuisine served with attention to detail and a lot of warmth has given us yet another insight in to the life of Fes. We’ll come back. We absolutely recommend the Riad Soufaine, you will never regret.

Amazing place, could have been cleaner to get 5

It was a very nice place with nice furniture, however for the category of the place (and the price) the cleanliness, the linens and towels.... could have been more accurate. They did not correspond. The nice terrasse with those amazing views were not well mantained, the room smell humidity, and the linens were very old. Besides of that, the breakfast was nice, and Bernard the owner, attended us well giving meaningful tips.

Thank you for taking the time to write an opinion after your stay. I am delighted that you appreciated the setting and the hospitality of our house as well as the breakfasts.
I understand your remark about the feeling of humidity in the room because we had to redo part of the plaster on one of the walls shortly before your arrival and the Riad being full I could not assign you another room. As for the bed linen, they are made of pure Egyptian cotton and recent bath towels, they are perfectly maintained. As for the terrace, which offers a splendid view, it is also perfectly maintained, but we had not yet installed everything for the summer. This will be done as soon as the period of heavy rains that we have in Fez is over.
