Simple and cheap hotel

This is kind of hotel on the place of old factory, in a sleeping Riga region, close to the Daugava river. Rooms are clean and very cheap. There is not breakfast nearby but you can eat in the Russian Lido- a nice bistro in front of a hotel, or in another cafe' called Saules Meitas- Daughters of a Sun- a very nice cafe' in a middle of a shop line, 500m away. The only problem is very old TV sets and noisy fens in bath rooms.

Avoid at all costs.

This hotel is terrible, the whole experience was disturbing. The area is really poor, tne reception wasn't manned so we had to wait to get checked in. The rooms are beyond words they looked like they did a bad clean up after a murder scene.
Suffice to say we didn't stay and went to a different hotel.

Poor hotel and bad location

Room was ok for 60 Euro. I booked the room with Sauna access. I realized there sauna and pool is only open from 9 am to 11 am. Then in three days of my stay both were closed for two days. So I paid for the facility that I could not use. The bathroom was really smelly. No breakfast. Actually, it looked like an old government quarter, not the hotel. The checkout time was 13:30 but the lady at reception told its 12 so I have to show her my booking. The nearest supermarket is 1 Km far away. Avoid this hotel, better to go Airbnb then here.

Unacceptable

Clearly this hotel has not been carefully inspected recently. I will definitely be reporting them. The carpet was an utter disgrace. The arm of the chair lifted off when I picked it up. The bed cover was stained. And yet the hotel was full. I doubt by returning customers. In fact I understand that workers at the new shopping mall are ‘sent’ here. Where is the income going? I doubt back into the dire needs of the hotel.
We were only here one night. But the previous week we had an Airb&b apartment across the road for £25 per night. It was by far better value for our money.

Very bad, not a hotel!

The room was really dirty. There was no clean spot on the floor mat. The whole hotel smelled of mildew. The bathroom was moldy and all the surfaces in the room felt moist.
There was no air conditioning. The bathroom fan kept such a loud noise that it came to the head. No breakfast available and owner was unfriendly. No restaurant at all. The room was really cramped and the furniture mixed up.
The woman in the demonstration picture here with the blue bag is the owner. I watched reviews here and on Google. I believe that part of it is fraudulent. This feels more like the hourly rate motel, not really a three star hotel!
