Pullman Old Town - Riga, LTV

Superb location in Riga's Old Town and nearby gov't offices, even with ongoing construction on local bldgs, its been very quiet
Have seen no graffiti, no garbage or filth on streets!
Hotel has a wading pool, very narrow, you can do exercises in it, but the access for seniors is not efficient. Needs improvement for easier access!
An outside terrace on 6th fl. has been locked,, not sure why, because it would be nice to sit our there
Elevators need a railing to hold on to
Good restaurant, friendly staff, excellent breakfast

Pullman Riga

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the old town, with underground parking nearby. Despite my Gold level, I was initially denied upgrade, citing that all rooms were occupied. I went to the chord app and showed them that it wasn't. The employee caught lying blushes thickly, apologizes for the mistake and still provides the upgrade.
The hotel restaurant is terrible: the kitchen is disgusting!

Not a five star hotel

The hotel is located right on the edge of the Old Town, making it very easy to walk around and enjoy the area. However, it is situated in a pedestrian zone where private cars and taxis are not allowed. If you have heavy luggage, it can be quite difficult and complicated to pull your bags to the designated pickup and drop-off area for taxis.
The worst thing about the hotel was that our room had virtually no air circulation. Although it was equipped with an AC unit, the room remained extremely humid and damp. Our clothes and papers actually got wet and began to smell of mildew. Despite the AC, the room stayed hot and humid, making it impossible to sleep or spend any comfortable time there. We were sweating constantly.
Housekeeping was mediocre, and the shower was dirty. Additionally, the room did not have a closet, dresser, or any cabinets to store our personal belongings and clothes.
This definitely wasn't a five-star hotel—more like a three- or four-star property at best

Save your money

The breakfast to begin with is not worth the price. It’s mostly cold unless you’re lucky and if you have a allergy I can’t recommend this at all. To add to this the chef loudly complained in Russian about adjustments thinking I didn’t understand what she was saying when I in fact understand and speak Russian. Nice location and quiet place but this whole thing did ruin the experience.

Ordered transportation through the hotel, arrived at the airport and the ride never came. They said it was a miscommunication with the transport company, Grabbed a taxi
Set up walking tour the next day, guess what? The guide was a NO SHOW
They do not have a concierge, so you have to rely on the front desk, and at times with check ins, the wait was 15-20 minutes.
The shower flooded the vanity even when I rolled up a towel at the bottom of the glass door.
Positive point, good location BUT the street is blocked off everyday so transportation has to pick you up on the other side of the park. Not fun with luggage and rain.
