Super!!!!

Staff super , view from room very very nice and restaurant food delicious
Clean and cozy place to stay more and more again! Recomend it☀️ also quiet if you like calm evening on the lake
It s located just on the shore of the lake, and has got some swim activities close to hotel.
Breakfast and brunch at restaurant as option to have some nice food .

Negative experience

I visited the reception personally in May and booked a double room in the hotel for one night on August 13th. I did not pay for my stay in advance, and I had not any confirming documents. I visited the hotel personally later twice more and checked the reservation. The second visit was four days before my arrival. My booking was confirmed by the staff every time. Upon arrival, the receptionist told me that I didn’t have any bookings at all! He said that it was a mistake, they would check later, and advised me of a terrible single room that was unacceptable for my wife and me.

You get what you pay for

Understand what kind of hotel this is and who they cater for. We were in town for business and this was close to where we needed to be every day. This is not a good choice as a business hotel. They start serving breakfast at 0900, it can be noisy because the other guests are there to party, you need a car to get to shops/other amenities. The restaurant was decent and the front desk staff were very helpful. Good view if the lake. If you want a cheap place to stay on vacation next to the lake it might be ok.

Great for activities

Sure this hotel is not best choice if you're without car and plan to see beautiful centre of Riga. But if you don't want to spend much and would like to enjoy some water sports it's good stay. The bigger rooms are facing lake but also are more noicy, rooms at back are not fancy nor have nice view but are more quiet. Best part of breakfast was good machine coffee. As for dinner Cabo Cafe is just 200m away, so is the surfing club 360.

Be warned of the noice

We travelled by car, so this was easy choice for that matter. We got the bigger room with wiew to the lake. Room is quite comfy, no complains. But friday and saturday nights hotel restaurant has disco nights, and as the restaurant has that on the open terass by the lake, you won't be able to sleep before 3 o'clock in the morning. I really mean that. Music was so loud, and our room is the farest way from the restaurant. Restaurant is quite pricy and serving is very slow. Menu is only in Latvian language. So stay only on weekdays from sunday to thursday and enjoy the wiew with low cost room price.
