Fantastic

It was good. They had a water dispenser at the lobby so I was able to drink the water every time i wanted to. There is a sauna but with extra pay. Unfortunately I don’t know how much. The hotel have comfortable beds. Location is really great and I liked it

For us, this is a second home and every time we order food from a nearby restaurant and are ready to come again

Wow, this is a hotel for the whole family, plus an affordable price and a kitchen included, everything is in very good condition and high quality, the staff is very pleasant. I don't even want to leave. We have been coming to this hotel every year for 11 years, the whole family comes every time, we will always come!

Enjoyable stay

We made a last-minute change from Riga Old Town to Jurmala as there was a heat wave going on. I thought now it is the right time to see Jurmala. In Riga, we have been so many times.
The hotel prices in Jurmala are quite high during the summer. I found Villa Alvine which has a good location between Jomas street (the heart of Jurmala) and the beach. Also, there was air-conditioning which was now a vital thing.
Villa Alvine consists of an old villa and a new wing. I booked the Luxury One-Bedroom Apartment #14, which is the whole top floor of the old villa. The price of 198 euros per night felt suitable for a 90 m2 apartment. The breakfast was not included in the price but it can be bought from the restaurant next door.
Our room was very spacious, especially the living room with the attached kitchenette. There was also a small balcony. Many of the furniture was Latvian-style wooden handcraft.
We were very happy with our accommodation but some things could be changed. The only television was quite small considering the huge space. The two chandeliers were very bright during the dark and a dimmer for them could be installed. The fridge was put to an electric outlet above the kitchen counter although there was an outlet behind the fridge. Also, there could have been salt and oil in the kitchen. For a two-day visit, it is not wise to buy them from a grocery store.

Perfect home from home

Stayed for a week's holiday with our kids. We liked the very central location and proximity to the beach and Iomas street. The apartment was nicely furnished and equipped. We had a problem with our air conditioning so they kindly upgraded us after two days when another apartment came available. They also provided free housekeeping to make up for the inconvenience. So we were pleased by the attentive service and would definitely return.

Pleasant winter apartment retreat.

Well situated near central Jurmala, short drive to Riga Airport.
Beach is at the rear of the building.
Apartment very spacious, clean and well furnished.
Free & convenient parking.
Friendly & helpful staff.
