Room was very clean, and staff were super helpful. Even waited till 2:30am to support us and let us in after our flight delay.

Horrible

This is our first time to Italy when we arrived by taxi, the gentleman told us it was not a safe area, we understood why because there were vagrants hanging around, also drug addicts we did not feel safe at all. Then to get to the room we had to go across the street obviously with the vagrants around. When we got to the room it was very moldy and dusty, my family and I started to experience issues sneezing, throat started hurting and we had a baby with us. We definitely couldn’t sleep there and we had to check out the same night we arrived. We requested a refund but the hotel does not wish to give us a refund. Also their pictures are not a true replica of the place it is very misleading

Dear guests,
We do not know where you made the reservation but almost every website has a lot of pictures of the different room typologies.
You wrote the reason you did not get a refund: we cannot give refunds because you felt unsafe in the district where the hotel is located.
We are sorry if you were scared, but it is not something to blame the hotel for. You should have chosen the Neighbourhood of Venice considering your priorities and preferences. But that is something you needed to do way before asking the taxi driver's opinion.

Poor management, they do not know how to solve problems.

After a two-night stay, the refrigerator was not working (in the middle of a heat wave); it was fixed late after 1 and a half days. On the day of the first breakfast, we notified them that one was gluten-free, and they reserved gluten-free bread for us for the second day. On the second day, they did not have the reserved bread, and my son had to eat breakfast with food from the supermarket. Very poor staff management, both the morning and afternoon shifts.

Lamentamos que el refrigerador de su habitación no funcionara correctamente a su llegada.
Sin embargo, debemos señalar que afirmar que el personal es incapaz de resolver los problemas es incorrecto e injusto.
El problema se reportó a última hora de la tarde del día de llegada. Tras un primer intento del recepcionista por solucionarlo siguiendo las instrucciones de nuestro técnico, el refrigerador fue reemplazado a la mañana siguiente, tan pronto como el personal técnico estuvo disponible.
Sus peticiones de cambiar de habitación después de haberla utilizado ya, o de que el personal de recepción reemplazara la nevera, eran poco realistas.
La misma norma sobre el desayuno se aplica a todos: los alimentos del bufé deben consumirse durante el horario establecido para el desayuno; no está permitido abastecerse para el resto del día.
Naturalmente, esto también se aplica a los productos sin gluten.

A day in Venice

We stayed at this hotel for one night; the hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from the station and a 20-minute walk from the center of Mestre. The hotel is located in a multi-ethnic area, offers some parking spaces (€10 per day) that cannot be booked in advance, and a decent breakfast. The reception is open until 10 PM and the staff is kind. We had booked a quadruple room; we were assigned a very large 5-bed room in the annex, unfortunately, however, without windows. I do not agree with the idea of charging for towel changes (€2 per piece).

Having already stayed at this hotel a few years ago we purposely picked it to stay again. This time it had none of the boutique qualities we had experienced before and was very disappointing. The decor was shabby and the staff quite unfriendly. The notices in the room about not leaving a towel on the floor or you would be charged 2euros or indeed if you asked for any new linens or towels they would be chargeable at 2 euros a piece seemed unbelievable! We will not be making a return visit!
