Excellent!
Very short experience, but left its mark for the Welcoming, Cleanliness, Service and attention to detail, as well as for the availability of Mrs. Barbara. Congratulations! I'd like to find more and more places like this.

A relaxing weekend in Bormio
We stayed at Casa Sofia because we had to go to the QC spa in Bormio and we had a great time! Upon arrival the welcome was excellent and the lady was very kind. While talking, he informed us that that evening they would be organizing an autumn-themed dinner in their restaurant and we went there. We strongly advise you to go and eat there and try the deer tartare, very good, then the service is perfect, the plating is very nice, and the place is very characteristic with this floor dotted with leaves in autumn colors
He also asked us if we wanted breakfast but it was an extra 4 euros each for cappuccino and brioche or cake and we accepted since they brought it to our room at the time we wanted ☕️
The apartment was very characteristic and in mountain style, clean and including all the crockery even for preparing food.
We arrived on Friday morning and left on Sunday and spent €220.
Recommended, I would go back

Excellent accommodation
Excellent accommodation in a very quiet, peaceful place, and not far from Bormio, very kind people, good breakfast, even for gluten intolerants. Prices essentially more than fair.

Bicycle trip
We stayed here with a group of 16 in 4 apartments. All apartments were clean and up to date. There was a nice bicycle storage for our bikes as well as a location to clean the bike after our rides.
Barbara is a great host and very flexible and understanding. She helped us where she could. Breakfast is just perfect and fresh, lots of value for a little price.
If we go cycling again in this area we will definitely return to Casa Sofia.
I can highly recommend these apartments if you go to Bormio area

Great apartment style
We used Casa Sofia as our base for cycling routes in the Bormio area over a three day period. While staying at the Casa, we got to conquer Passo Mortirolo, Passo Gavia & Passo Stelvio. Would have stayed longer if we didn’t have to return our bikes. Although not located in Bormio town per Se, I think the location is actually better for starting down to Mortirolo & Gavia. There is a nice, safe stretch of road leading straight down south toward Mortirolo climb entry point that is perfect for warm up before trying that monster climb. Gavia route is the same, if you make it a separate trip as it heads north toward Bormio from Casa Sofia. We found this place so comfortable and relaxing. Very nice apartment like set up with own kitchen and living room like set up on an extra bed + terrace where you can hang out and chill after rides. Her breakfast (extra €5/person) was well worth it. You will have to drive about a mile or two to get to any local restaurant it’s a pleasant one thru country roads. Barbara the owner is very knowledgeable and accommodating that you will feel right at home. Having a bike storage/wash facility is also a plus. Overall, a perfect place when cycling thru Bormio region. Highly recommend it.
