Tip top!

Great location 2 steps from the lake, with paid parking spaces; Welcoming of friendly Susie; Room with comfortable bed, coffees and teas available; Small bathroom with everything necessary; Buffet breakfast with excellent products, including several beautiful pies; New Service and Welcoming of Susie and Macha very nice: in short, I recommend this place

Good place

Very good and clean rro s with a good price considerate the position near to the train north. Good service and attentive and helpful. The lady that waited us was good person and very proffesional. We think to turn again here. Small TV in room but okair conditional and all the services

Lovely hotel.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff, central location and nice breakfast. The room was small but smart and clean. The staff was very helpful. After flying from the US, I was allowed to check in early and offered breakfast.

Great Location

We spent 3 nights at this B&B (Hotel/Pension) in Sept. and couldn't have asked for a better location. Free parking was only about 100 meters from the hotel and was off street and under cover. Even though the room was quite small, we had a view of the lake which was just across the road. We were a stones throw away from the ferry terminal that went to Bellagio and a very short walk to the Funicular to Brunate.
The breakfast buffet was superb. We highly recommend this Accommodation for your stay at Como.

Grubby Little Place

This looked absolutely nothing like their marketing material. One good point, we had requested parking and there was none when we arrived at 3pm so someone walked us to a much safer place to park. This was the only good thing about our stay. Its basically a restaurant that has created 7 bedrooms in the "completely renovated building" . See from the pic it was grubby and needed renovating. The room with a view of the lake as requested actually looked out over the train stn! Our room was tired and needed a spruce up. You could just about walk around the bed. One bedside light just had wire on the end. No plug! The phone didn't work and no details of the free WiFi. Bathroom was clean though. It looked like the rooms had been created in a bombed out old warehouse. Very echoing and although we expected noise being in the centre, most of the noise was coming from inside the place with doors slamming people shouting etc. In summary I think this place is in the scummy end of Como and I will definately not be staying there again nor would I recommend it. Oh and another big selling point they made was the Philip Stark chairs in each room. I suspect ours was a fake!
