A little bit of mountain paradise
The menu is not large but the food was excellent. The Chef was a whiz with eggs and breakfast scrambled, poached, fried or omelette was great. Fruit was all local and plentiful, and the local dishes were prepared and cooked to perfection, worthy of a much more expensive place.
The Staff were friendly, obliging and full of smiles. The Owner conducts free yoga classes and is a skilled yoga master. Opposite is a wonderful herb factory and produces hundreds of herb for Traditional Chinese Medicine around the world.
And our six day stay for two person including all meals was about A$60 a day. Wonderful place, highly recommended.

Villa Ipsa Benkel (Regio Munduk)
The location is somewhat remote but we had deliberately chosen that. There is a free shuttle to the falls in Munduk and also if you want to eat outside the door you will be taken there (for a small fee)! Prima service.
Breakfast is not very extensive (bread / toast, strawberry jam, eggs and fruit) but otherwise fine!
It's lovely cooling you down the nice pool with breathtaking views

Cleanliness and terrible customer service
The property assured me that they would offer a refund and I have spent the last two weeks liaising with them to secure a refund. Not only is there a hygiene matter of concern I am also feeling very let down by their service. Despite promising to arrange a refund, I still don’t have anything back from them. This is really disappointing service and I know that other people had similar concerns about their stays. Such a shame because I had a genuine cancellation reason and had only just booked so they did not miss out on any other bookings. Pretty appalling and they just kept referring back to the booking terms.
